Nyungwe is one of four national parks in Rwanda and is one of oldest forests in Africa.
It rich on biodiversity 1068 plants species,85 mammals species 13 of them are primates species like chimps, sliver monkey, valvet monkey, Mona monkey or dent monkey, colobus monkey, grey chicked mangabey,olive baboon,mountain monkey,owl faced monkey, red tailed monkey,potto, Thomas dowf galago, spectacled galago , 4 of them are well habituated for tourism purpose. It has 140 orchid, 120 butterfly,32 amphibians,36 reptiles, more 340 birds species 31 of them are endemic.

Nyungwe has different attractions like conapy walk way, nature walk, night walk, bird watching, primates trekking, tropical waterfall, night walk.
