On 3 June 2024 (27th day of the 4th Lunar Calendar), the Great Compassion Repentance Puja took place at the Hall of Great Compassion in Kong Meng San Phor Kark See Monastery. During this auspicious chanting event, LED lights and flowers were reverently offered to Avalokiteshvara Bodhisattva on behalf of the contributors. These heartfelt offerings symbolised deep appreciation and veneration for the Triple Gem.

We observe Vesak Day on the 15th day of the 4th lunar month. This is a day of profound significance for Buddhists worldwide. It is on this day that we honor the Birth, Enlightenment, and Final Nirvana of Shakyamuni Buddha.

In Hall of No Form of Kong Meng San Phor Kark See Monastery, Lotus LED Lights, LED Lights, Flowers and Rice contributed by devotees were offered to the Buddha. The dedicated volunteers then used these offerings to create a beautiful mandala to commemorate this auspicious day. We rejoice in the merits accumulated by the contributors and volunteers.

🙏 On the 8th Day of the 4th Lunar Month, we honor the birth of Shakyamuni Buddha. Shakyamuni Buddha was born as Prince Siddhartha Gautama in Northern Indian. His life was full of inspiring events of how he touched people from all walks of life with his perfect Wisdom and Compassion.

In the Hall of Universal Brightness at Kong Meng San Phor Kark See Monastery, LED Lights, pots of Flowers and packets of Red Rice were offered to Shakyamuni Buddha on behalf of the contributors.

🙏 Birth Day of Manjusri Bodhisattva falls on the 4th Day of the 4th Lunar Month. Manjusri Bodhisattva personifies the perfection of transcendent knowledge. He is known for his great wisdom in instructing Dharma practitioners and teachers.

Today is Qing Ming. It is a festival in Chinese tradition of filial piety in remembering and honouring the kindness of ancestors.
LED Lights, pots of Flowers and packets of Thai Longan were offered to Ksitigarbha Bodhisattva at Pu An Columbarium of Kong Meng San Phor Kark See Monastery on behalf of the contributors.
Venerable was invited to chant Ksitigarbha Sutra to rejoice this special offering event by giving blessing to all the contributors and dedicated the merits to their loved ones.
