Happy Friday! It is almost time for another parkrun! Last week was event #293 - with 93 participants! What are the chances? We did not celebrate any milestones, but several WCP regulars will reach participant and volunteer milestones in upcoming weeks.🎉

🇸🇬 Some of our West Coast Park parkrun community had an awesome morning at the Singapore National Day special event at Bishan parkrun this morning! It was great to see such a fantastic turnout of parkrunners and sea of red in celebration of Singapore’s 59th Birthday! Thanks to our neighbours at Bishan for hosting and lovely to see the rest of our Singapore parkrun community from East Coast Park parkrun and Bay East Garden parkrun!

Event #291 at West Coast Park parkrun will run as normal tomorrow at 7:30am! We would love to see as many of you as possible. We meet at the amphitheater just past the kids playground. If you’re new to parkrun, you just have to register once and come along:

🇸🇬 Special parkrun event! Friday 9th August - Singapore National Day 🇸🇬

Wear your red and white and come and join us to celebrate Singapore's 59th birthday and National Day! 🎉

We’ll be at Bishan parkrun in the morning for a 07:30am flag off.

It will be a wonderful morning of celebration and community. We’d love to see as many of you from West Coast Park parkrun as possible!

Last night the West Coast Park parkrun team of Run Directors enjoyed a nice run around the Marina followed by dinner at Satay by the Bay!

This post is a special shout out to our dream team of Run Directors at West Coast Park parkrun. If you are a regular at our events you will know that every week at least one of this team will help setup, packup, manage the volunteers, run the briefing, process the results and make it all possible!
