Starting Tuesday, April 11, we are opening the bicycle service in Bled again.

We service all types and models of bicycles.

We are open Monday through Friday, from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m., at Trubarjeva 8 (below the kindergarten). If you want to visit us outside of working hours, call us on 031 544 544. A parking lot is available for bike rentals.

We also have the largest bicycle rental company in the country, if you need them for your visitors or guests, you can view the offer at: https://www.rentabike.si/

The Savica Waterfall—78 meters high, 836 meters wide at normal water level and fed by water from the Triglav Lakes Valley.

It is quite a view, so it's no wonder that renowned Slovene poet France Prešern wrote about it in one of his poems: Krst pri Savici (The Baptism at the Savica). In case you would like to visit it, you have that option if you cycle from Pokljuka to Bohinj, or if you are staying in Ribčev Laz or Bohinjska Bistrica while hiking one of our trails, or if you would like to simply rent a bike and cycle to there.

If you booked a tour with us, or are thinking about it, here are some flights and airports information you might need.

In Slovenia, we have one international airport, it is called Ljubljana Airport. It is located about 20 km away from our capital city. It is a small airport, and, on second image, you can see all airline companies that fly to Ljubljana.

As we are a small country, neighbourhood countries are few hours away from Ljubljana city. Trieste and Zagreb are about 2-3 hours away, depending on traffic. Treviso, Venezia, P**a, and Vienna are a bit further away, but still close.

Trieste Airport
• Ryanair: Catania, Cagliari, Malta, Bari, Palermo, Valencia, LDN Stansted, Naples, Dublin
• Lufthansa: Frankfurt,
• ITA Airways: Rome Fiumicino

To or from Treviso you can fly with Ryanair or Wizz Air, while flying to or from Venezia, Vienna, and P**a there are more airline companies to choose from.

Store your bike over winter

We have gathered 6 tips on how to store your bike over the winter, so it stays in the best condition as possible.

1.Clean your bike
2. Lubricate your chains, gears and cables
3. Get a tune up
4. Pump up the tires
5. Remove Electronics and water bottels
6. Store in the right spot

One of Slovene Natural Pearls!

Vintgar Gorge is located 4 km northwest of the centre of Bled and is one of natural highlights of Triglav National Park.

The crystal clear Radovna river winds for a mile along a narrow gorge between high hills. Numerous rapids and cascades end magnificently with the 13-meter Šum waterfall.

Mountain Biking around Triglav National Park

For lovers of fresh alpine air, picturesque scenery and sweeping vistas. This is a mountain bike tour in the sense of landscape rather than cycling terrain. Most roads are asphalt. However, quite a few of the side trips are on unpaved surfaces and forest tracks.
