The weather and activities during the rainy season in Chiang Mai, Pai and Chiang Rai, which extends over the months of July and August, are quite manageable.

The rain often falls at night or in short bursts during the day. With a thin raincoat and an umbrella, you can comfortably endure it.
The weather remains warm, but cools down in the shade with a pleasant breeze.
