A pilgrimage group from Sri Lanka visited Wat Phra Dhammakaya, inspired by their faith in Buddhism. They had the opportunity to pay homage to the Dhammakaya Cetiya, a sacred place that serves as a gathering center for up to a million people seeking inner peace through meditation. This visit was a special experience and a meritorious moment for them, marking an important spiritual milestone of venerating the Cetiya in person at least once in their lifetime.

Matthew, a 55-year-old former U.S. Navy officer with four years of experience practicing and assisting at the Alabama Meditation Center, came to Thailand to ordain as a monk in the IDOP International Dhammadayada program at iRETREAT in Pa Pae, Chiang Mai. Originally planning to travel to Brazil and Peru, he canceled his non-refundable flight to pursue his commitment to Buddhist practice in Thailand.

During his visit to Wat Phra Dhammakaya, Matthew sought to deepen his understanding of the temple's mission before his ordination. With admiration for Luang Pu Wat Paknam, whom he deeply respects, he carries a picture of him in his wallet at all times. Matthew appreciates the temple's dedication to fostering world peace through meditation, which he believes is a key solution to global issues.

He was particularly impressed with the Dhammakaya Cetiya and is looking forward to becoming part of the Sangha. Despite the late hour of his visit, he actively engaged with the temple staff, asking many questions about the Great Masters, meditation practices, and the temple’s purpose of helping people worldwide.

คุณแมทธิว อดีพนายทหารเรือจากกองทัพเรือสหรัฐ วัย 55 ปี มีประสบการณ์ปฏิบัติธรรมและช่วยงานที่ศูนย์อลาบามา มาเป็นเวลา 4 ปี เดินทางมาเมืองไทยครั้งนี้เพื่อที่จะมาบวชเป็นพระภิกษุกับโครงการ IDOP ธรรมทายาทนานาชาติ ที่ iRETREAT ป่าแป๋ จังหวัดเชียงใหม่เป็นเวลา 2 ปี โดยการชักชวนของ ดร.นีน่า (แพทย์หญิงศิรินา นิมิตยงสกุล) ซึ่งเดิมคุณแมทธิวมีแผนที่จะท่องเที่ยวไปยังบราซิลและเปรู แต่ได้ยกเลิกแผนการเดินทางยอมเสียเงินค่าตั๋วเครื่องบินที่ refund ไม่ได้ เพื่อที่จะเดินทางมาประเทศไทยเพื่อบวชพระ

การมาเยี่ยมชมวัดในครั้งนี้ เพื่อที่จะได้ทำความรู้จักวัดพระธรรมกายให้มากขึ้นก่อนบวช ทั้งนี้ เคยเดินทางมาประเทศไทยเมื่อ 30 ปีก่อนเพื่อมาเรียนมวยไทยที่จังหวัดอุบลราชธานี ซึ่งเขามีความสนในใจใน Martial Art และฝึกฝนมาอย่างต่อเนื่อง

ในวันรุ่งขึ้นมีกำหนดการที่จะเดินทางไปวัดปากน้ำ เพื่อกราบนมัสการร่างหลวงปู่และรูปหล่อทองคำของท่าน

คุณแมทธิวมีความเคารพและศรัทธาหลวงปู่เป็นอย่างยิ่ง โดยได้พกรูปหลวงปู่ติดไว้ในกระเป๋าสตางค์ของตัวเองตลอดเวลา

คุณแมทธิวรู้สึกชื่นชมในมโนปณิธานของหลวงพ่อที่จะสร้างสันติสุขให้เกิดขึ้นในโลก มีความตั้งใจในการนั่งสมาธิ สนใจในเรื่องราวประวัติของหลวงปู่และคุณยายอาจารย์ สนใจว่าปัจจุบันนี้ยังมีโรงงานทำวิชชาที่นั่งสมาธิต่อเนื่อง 24 ชั่วโมงดังเช่นเมื่อครั้งสงครามโลกครั้งที่ 2 อีกหรือไม่

A Bangladeshi family, including a son working in Australia and his mother, brother, and sister-in-law living in Bangladesh, visited Wat Phra Dhammakaya. Having previously visited the temple himself and been deeply impressed, the son wanted to share this experience with his family. They were guided by Venerable Mahipala, a Bangladeshi monk at the temple. The family admired the various spiritual sites and expressed deep faith in the Great Masters' efforts to bring inner peace. Visiting the Dhammakaya Cetiya was particularly inspiring, and they appreciated the warm hospitality.

Two Sri Lankan visitors from Colombo, who own a private business, decided to take a break from work and spend two weeks in Thailand. During their final week, they visited Wat Phra Dhammakaya after seeing the temple on YouTube. Being devout Buddhists, they wanted to experience the temple in person and meditate there.

Both were deeply impressed by the stories of the Great Masters and the serene, clean, and orderly environment of Wat Phra Dhammakaya, which left a lasting impression on them.

Two American tourists, one from Las Vegas and the other from Miami, are frequent visitors to Thailand. After learning about Wat Phra Dhammakaya online, they decided to visit the temple in person.

They had the opportunity to meditate and learn about the temple's history, including the stories of The Great Master Nun Chandra, the founder of Wat Phra Dhammakaya, and Luang Por Dhammajayo, who initiated numerous projects aimed at promoting world peace, recognized by many international organizations.

The temple’s organization, vast spaces like Dhammakaya Cetiya, and the well-structured environment left a lasting impression. With the guidance of a monk, they gained a deeper understanding of Buddhism and expressed interest in practicing meditation at branch centers in the U.S. upon returning.

A group of four Nepalese visitors, including a revered monk and his supporting family, recently toured Wat Phra Dhammakaya. They were intrigued by the temple’s global efforts in organizing large-scale ordination ceremonies, including in Nepal, and wanted to see firsthand how such events are managed.

During their visit, they were deeply impressed by the temple's organization, cleanliness, and tranquility. At each site, they respectfully bowed and requested additional time for chanting and meditation, particularly at the main chapel and Dhammakaya Cetiya. They commented that the temple’s operations serve as a model for Buddhist institutions worldwide, offering invaluable lessons in effective temple management.

Mr. Alexander, who works with WWF’s global climate campaign, visited Thailand with his family and brought his 16-year-old son, Mr. Sam, to meditate in Pa Pae, Chiang Mai, for a week. Impressed with his son’s meditation skills, they visited Wat Phra Dhammakaya upon recommendation from a monk to further explore Buddhist culture and practice meditation for three more days. Hideo Suzuki, a Buddhist Studies student from a university in Kyoto, Japan, visited Wat Phra Dhammakaya on the recommendation of his university. Despite having a short amount of time, he was deeply impressed by the serene atmosphere and the sight of devotees making merit on a Sunday. At the Dhammakaya Cetiya, he found the continuous chanting and the collective meditation of people inspiring. The language barrier was not a problem for him, as his primary goal was to personally witness and pay respect to the Great Dhammakaya Cetiya, which brought him immense joy.

Led by the Sangharaja of Bengal, a delegation of Indian monks attended World Meditation Day at Wat Phra Dhammakaya on August 4, 2024. They explored the temple's history, learned about the life of Phra Mongkol Thepmuni (Sodh Candasaro), and visited exhibitions on the Great Master Nun Chandra Khonnokyoong and World Peace.

The visitors were deeply impressed by the transformation of the land into a sacred place for meditation and merit-making. They admired the dedication of Luang Por Dhammajayo and the global recognition he received for his peace efforts. The Sangharaja expressed gratitude for the warm welcome and hospitality, promising to encourage others to visit the temple.

Two German travelers, having visited over 40 countries, included Thailand in their extensive travels. Spending nearly three months exploring Thailand, they met a head monk from the Meditation and Youth Training Center of Chainat by chance. Intrigued by his invitation, they meditated at the center several times.

Before departing to Laos, they accepted an invitation to visit Wat Phra Dhammakaya. They spent six hours exploring the temple and participating in activities like offering food to monks. The visitors were particularly impressed by the exhibits about Khun Yai and her teachings on cleanliness, which they found reflected in the spotless restrooms. At the Dhammakaya Cetiya, they learned about its history and significance, expressing awe at the temple's grandeur and sanctity. They left with deep respect and hope to return for the Māgha Pūjā ceremony.

ชาวเยอรมัน 2 ท่าน เดินทางท่องเที่ยวไปทั่วโลกมากกว่า40ประเทศแล้ว และประเทศไทยก็เป็นหนึ่งในจุดหมายปลายทางของเขา พวกเขาใช้เวลาอยู่ในประเทศไทยได้เกือบ 3 เดือนและเดินทางไปทั่วทุกภูมิภาคของไทยแล้ว

จนได้ไปพบพระอาจารย์หัวหน้าศูนย์จังหวัดชัยนาทโดยบังเอิญ ท่านได้พูดคุยปฏิสันถารและชวนให้ไปนั่งสมาธิที่ศูนย์ชัยนาท ซึ่งอัธยาศัยของพวกเขาชอบศึกษาและเรียนรู้สิ่งใหม่ๆ อยู่แล้ว จึงได้ไปนั่งสมาธิที่ศูนย์ 2-3 ครั้งตามคำชักชวน

วันสุดท้ายก่อนเขาจะเดินทางไปประเทศลาว พอจ.ได้ชวนให้พวกเขามาเยี่ยมชมวัดพระธรรมกาย ซึ่งพวกเขาได้ใช้เวลา 6 ชั่วโมงในการเยี่ยมชมสถานที่ต่างๆและร่วมกิจกรรมบุญ เช่น ถวายภัตตาหาร

ตลอดการเยี่ยมชมทั้งสองท่านให้ความเคารพในสถานที่ สนใจและตั้งใจฟังข้อมูลที่เจ้าหน้าที่ได้ถ่ายทอดมาก โดยเฉพาะนิทรรศการคุณยาย ตั้งใจดูทุกภาพ และตั้งใจอ่านทุกคำสอน เมื่อได้พูดถึงคุณธรรมของคุณยายเรื่องความสะอาด แขกผู้หญิงกล่าวว่าไม่แปลกใจเลยห้องน้ำที่วัดถึงสะอาดมาก

เมื่อได้ไปที่พระมหาธรรมกายเจดีย์ได้ทราบข้อมูลประวัติการสร้างและความสำคัญของเจดีย์ พวกเขาต่างก็รู้สึกว่าที่นี่น่าจะเป็นวัดที่ใหญ่ที่สุดในโลก ที่มีความพิเศษมหัศจรรย์แบบนี้ พวกเขาสักการะพระมหาธรรมกายเจดีย์ด้วยความเคารพ กลับไปด้วยความสุขและหวังว่าจะได้กลับมาอีกครั้งในงานมาฆบูชา

Two visitors from Arunachal Pradesh, India—Nang Chetjawa Mannow, a travel company employee, and a village headman, visited Wat Phra Dhammakaya, accompanied by a Thai coordinator. They aimed to understand the temple better as their village hosted an ordination ceremony for the temple.

Starting with meditation, they found peace and tranquility, deeply impressed by the serene experience. Touring the temple, they admired the monastic sites and revered the contributions of the great masters who seek inner peace for all. At the Dhammakaya Cetiya, they paid homage and felt profound faith, inspired by the welcoming atmosphere and the sacred environment.

Chetjawa expressed a strong desire to bring more villagers to visit Wat Phra Dhammakaya, leaving with a heart full of joy and gratitude.

ชาวอินเดีย 2 ท่าน เป็นชาวอาหม รัฐอรุณาจัลประเทศ คือคุณ Nang Chetjawa Mannow ทำงานในบริษัทท่องเที่ยว มาเยี่ยมชมวัดพร้อมกับคุณตาหัวหน้าหมู่บ้านในรัฐแห่งนี้ ซึ่งเป็นสถานที่ที่เคยจัดงานบวชของวัดพระธรรมกาย และอีกท่านคือผู้ประสานงานชาวไทยที่พักอยู่กับบ้านคุณตาหัวหน้าหมู่บ้านท่านนี้

ทั้ง 2 ท่านต้องการรู้จักวัดพระธรรมกายอย่างละเอียดมากขึ้น เนื่องจากหมู่บ้านที่ดูแลรับผิดชอบ ได้รับบุญเป็นสถานที่ที่จัดงานบวชในครั้งนี้ ทั้ง 2 ท่านจึงได้รับการชักชวนจากผู้ประสานงานที่มาด้วยกัน

ทั้ง 2 ท่านได้นั่งสมาธิก่อนการชมวัดได้รับประสบการณ์ที่ดี มีความสงบสุข ประทับใจในการนั่งสมาธิครั้งนี้มาก

ในการชมวัดทุกท่านต่างประทับใจในทุกศาสนสถานที่ไปเยี่ยมชม อีกทั้งเลื่อมใสศรัทธาในคุณูปการของมหาปูชนียาจารย์ที่ต้องการให้ทุกคนพบกับสันติสุขภายใน เมื่อมาถึงพระมหาธรรมกายเจดีย์ ก็มีความเลื่อมใสศรัทธายิ่งๆ ขึ้นไป ได้บูชาพระเจดีย์ กราบพระประธานและปิดแผ่นทองที่รูปเหมือนพระมงคลเทพมุนี ทุกท่านมีความประทับใจในศาสนสถานและการต้อนรับที่อบอุ่น

คุณ Chetjawa กล่าวว่า เขามีความตั้งใจที่จะนำสาธุชนที่หมู่บ้านมาเยี่ยมชมวัดพระธรรมกายอีกด้วย และกลับไปพร้อมกับความปลื้มปิติใจกับการมาเยี่ยมชมวัดในครั้งนี้

Madu, a Sri Lankan engineer working in Thailand, visited Wat Phra Dhammakaya with his family upon a friend's recommendation. They first visited the Dining Hall, where they observed devotees offering meals to monks and novices. They were impressed by the temple's organization and care. They then learned about the temple's history, meditated, and toured various sites with the guidance of the reception team.

Finally, they revered the Dhammakaya Cetiya and Buddha statues, bringing blessings before their departure.

Dirk, a former general manager of a fashion company from Belgium, has traveled to many countries, including Thailand. Previously, he practiced meditation at the International Meditation Center in Samui. He was drawn to visit Wat Phra Dhammakaya based on a monk's recommendation.

Dirk was impressed by the temple's architecture, organization, and serene atmosphere. Learning about its history and seeing people from all over seeking inner peace made him happy. He also enjoyed meditating at the Great Dhammakaya Temple, where the presence of monks and laypeople in white enhanced the peaceful experience.

นอกจากนี้เขาได้มีโอกาสปฏิบัติธรรมที่มหาวิหารพระมงคลเทพมุนี (สด จนฺทสโร) เห็นผู้คนสวมชุดขาว และคณะสงฆ์ ทำให้บรรยากาศการปฏิบัติธรรม มีความสงบและสบาย

สุดท้ายนี้เขาได้ขอบคุณพระอาจารย์และทีมงานต้อนรับฯ ที่เอาใจใส่ดูแลตลอดในการชมวัด เป็นสิ่งที่ไม่สามารถอธิบายออกมาได้ และยังเป็นประสบการณ์ที่พิเศษสำหรับเขาในชีวิตเช่นกัน

A woman from Beijing was inspired by a friend who participated in the International Dhammadayada Ordination Program (IDOP) at Wat Phra Dhammakaya. During her visit, she attended the ordination ceremony, listened to Dhamma talks, and explored the serene temple grounds. She was particularly moved by the tranquility and spiritual energy at the Great Dhammakaya Cetiya, describing it as a source of profound merit. She was also impressed by the temple's activities like ordination programs, lantern lighting, and youth development projects. Encouraged by her experience, she shared her insights with friends online and encouraged them to make merit remotely. The warm reception and detailed information provided by the temple staff left a lasting impression on her.

ผู้หญิงท่านนี้มาจากเมืองปักกิ่ง สาธารณรัฐประชาชนจีน รู้จักวัดจากการที่เพื่อนชาวจีนมาบวชโครงการบวชพระนานาชาติจีน IDOP เพื่อนของเธอเเนะนำให้มาที่วัด นอกจากได้มาร่วมงานบวชแล้ว ก็ยังได้ฟังธรรมะและเยี่ยมชมสถานที่ต่างๆ ของวัดพระธรรมกายอีกด้วย

เธอประทับใจในทุกสถานที่ของวัด เพราะมีความเงียบ สะอาด และสงบ โดยเฉพาะที่พระมหาธรรมกายเจดีย์ เธอกล่าวว่า เหมือนเป็นเเหล่งรวมพลังของบุญ จนเธอสัมผัสได้ เธอจึงขอเดินเวียนประทักษิณเพื่อสัมผัสกับพลังนี้ได้นานๆ

อีกทั้งเธอยังชอบฟังเรื่องราวการเผยเเผ่ต่างๆ ของวัด ที่จัดกิจกรรมที่หลากหลาย เช่นการบวช การจุดประทีป โครงการพัฒนาเด็กและเยาวชน V-star และในทุกๆ กิจกรรมก็มีการนั่งสมาธิ

ถึงแม้ครั้งนี้จะเป็นการมาวัดครั้งเเรก เธอก็ชักชวนเพื่อนๆ ชาวจีนที่ไม่ได้มา ผ่านสื่อออนไลน์ ให้ทำบุญต่างๆ เช่น บุญภัตตาหาร บุญถวายยารักษาโรค บุญโคมประทีปและชวาลบุญ อีกด้วย เธอกล่าวว่า เธอประทับใจการต้อนรับของเจ้าหน้าที่วัดมาก ให้ความเป็นกันเองและให้ข้อมูลได้ครบถ้วน น่าประทับใจ

A group of nine Sri Lankans, from various towns and temples, embarked on a spiritual tour starting at Wat Phra Dhammakaya. Upon arriving in Thailand, they visited the temple first, before checking into their hotel in Pratunam. For many, it was their first visit, and they were deeply impressed by the temple's grandeur, cleanliness, organization, and the inspiring history of its founders. The serene atmosphere left a lasting impression on the group.
