Tour to the Sarez Lake in the Bartang valley, Tajikistan

Bartang -Sarez Tour

Itinerary: Dushanbe – Kalai Khumb -Rushan – Barchidif – Sarez - Barchidif – Roshorv-Rushan-Dushanbe

Duration: 11 days

Seasonality: April to October

Group size: Min: 4 persons, Max: 8 or 12 persons (Tour on individual base can be organized too)

Tour Itinerary details

Day 1. Arrival in Dushanbe. Transfer to the hotel. Relax & City tour. Overnight in a hotel or if you arrive early morning and prefer not to stay in Dushanbe, we can start driving to Kalai -Khumb on that day.

Day 2. Drive to Kalai-Khumb Overnight in a guesthouse.

Day 3. Kalai-Khumb - Barchidef village. Night in homestay or tent (as per the client preference)

Day 4. Trekking to the Sarez Lake (things can be carried by donkey/horse, it takes 7-8 hours to get there). Alternative basic accommodation to tents is also available.

Day 5-6. Things to do: fishing, riding a boat, climbing up mountains and enjoying the view around the lake

Day 7. Back to Barchidif. Homestay (cultural evening can be organized with the involvement of local musician including devotional poetry)

Day 8. Barchidiv- village Roshorv-largest in the area (beautiful view, trekking to the foot of the peak Labnazar (5989m), and Labnazar glaciers. You can see one of the highest private mountain fruits garden (3,100 m) and meet the gardener Mr. Saradbek- a retired English language teacher. Night in a homestay. (a cultural program can be organized upon request

Day 9. Return back to Dushanbe. Stopover in Rushan. Overnight in guesthouse

Day 10. Drive to Dushanbe. Placing in a hotel. Relax.

Day 11. Transfer to the airport. Leave home.
