Göbeklitepe is a Neolithic archaeological site in the Southeastern Anatolia Region of Turkey. The settlement was inhabited from c. 9500 to at least 8000 BCE, during the Pre-Pottery Neolithic. It is famous for its large circular structures that contain massive stone pillars - the world's oldest known megaliths.

Keslik Monastery near Cemil village in Cappadocia is a sprawling cave monastery complex with two churches (St. Michael and St. Stephen), a large refectory hall, a sacred spring and endless cave rooms. Located in an idyllic garden setting, this is the most expansive monastery in Cappadocia.

Prienne: An early Greek city that followed the Hippodamus’s Plan and built on a grid. Prienne is where Alexander is believed to have spent some time during his campaign and provided funds for the Temple of Athena to be completed. The city also offers a square shaped council chamber, a classical Greek theater built on the slopes of a hill, and a macellum (fish and meat market) that served the Prienians through its history.

It is believed that the underground cities of Cappadocia were initially built during the 8th and 7th centuries BCE by the Phrygians, who carved their living spaces into the region's soft volcanic rock. Later, they were enlarged and used by early Christians to escape Roman persecution. There are around 40 underground cities in Cappadocia, with the most visited including Kaymakli, Derinkuyu & Ozkonak.
