Villa Lou is a lovely, newly renovated, fully air-conditioned three bedroom villa with beautiful views overlooking the Bitez Marina and Bay, and caters for every whim of the discerning holidaymaker. Plug your I-pod into the speaker dock and chill out watching the yachts and listening to your favourite tunes on the BBQ terrace with a cold beer or glass of wine. Take a swim in the beautiful clear wa

ter of the swimming pool with its sun-loungers and shaded areas, or stroll into Bitez, which retains its village feel, but has something to offer everyone, young or old. The marina is only 5 minutes walk down the hill from the villa, and the main beach area, with its free sun beds and wide choice of bars and restaurants, is only a further 5 minutes stroll. Energetic souls can try their hand at windsurfing, waterskiing, scuba diving, sailing, yachting, paragliding,kitesurfing or having fun on the ringos/banana. Bitez is a tranquil alternative to nearby Bodrum and Gumbet, and Villa Lou provides the perfect base. The swimming pool is generally open in July and August at the discretion of the site management and beyond our control. When it is not open we make arrangements with a nearby local hotel to use pool at nominal charge which can be off-set by the cost of drinks and food. Bitez is such a beautiful resort you may never want to leave explore other resorts in the Bodrum Peninsula, however cheap dolmus buses are readily available to take you to Bodrum centre, Yalikavak, Torba, Turgutreis, Gumusluk, Turkbuku or any of the other small resorts, each of which have their own individual charm.

Had a great meal at the fish restaurant - Isimidya in konacik. Excellent mezzes - not all the usual ones- and really fresh & beautifully cooked fish, good service ......and importantly, byo on wine & spirits ( not beers or soft drinks). A really good find! Thanks to the hosts Kemal and Fulya and to AnnMarie & Murat for suggesting it.

We have two pink inflatable flamingos - left curtesy of previous guests! Would anyone like them? (For those old enough to remember, Husband might have liked to “ride a white swan” but these are pink flamingos !)

Scrooges - definitely a “go-to” restaurant! Great food - steak done to perfection, curry very tasty - attentive but not overpowering service, followed by a nightcap at Bar Humbug! Can really recommend both most highly. Thank you Jane, Jimmy & Sam!
