Saklikent, meaning hidden paradise, was stumbled upon by a shepherd many years ago. Prior to its discovery, the deep canyon's mysterious and stunning beauty remained unnoticed. Stretching over 15km, Saklikent ranks among the longest canyons globally. Wading through the invigorating waters of the canyon offers an exhilarating experience. The scent of nature and trekking along the canyon's path are sure to work up a hearty appetite.
Following a satisfying restaurant lunch, you'll venture to one of the most significant and atmospheric cities of the Lycian Federation. Tlos stands as one of the largest settlements of the Lycians, who inhabited the region between Caria and Pamphylia. Among the ruins, remnants from both Lycian and Roman eras abound. The skilled artisans of this ancient city crafted remarkable works of art. Highlights include the amphitheater, the Roman bath, the marketplace, the sarcophagi of the king's three sons, various rock-cut tombs, and notably, the burial site of common folk along the settlement's steep cliff face.

A full booked week of our normal daily route + a special request to squeeze in a beloved repeat customer resulted in one off the best safaris of the season. 😍 Cooler temperatures, uncrowded venues, colorful sunset hues along the drive, and an exciting off road in the dark - wow we loved it!
