Experience the magic of Turkish coffee in Cappadocia! Join us for a private 2-hour workshop to learn all about its rich history and how to make it. Enjoy drinking your freshly brewed cup with us either at a local house or out in nature, depending on the weather.
This private two-hour workshop will provide guests with a comprehensive overview of this traditional craft, from its history and culture to its preparation methods. The demonstration begins where the instructor will guide participants through every step involved in making authentic Turkish coffee.
Guests can learn about grinding techniques, brewing instructions, flavorings and more while enjoying interactive demonstrations on how to make their own cup just like they would find it served in any café or restaurant across Turkey! First, traditional fruit sherbet (Şerbet) made from fresh fruits drink is served as a palate cleanser. While guests drink coffee, the famous Turkish delights and Turkish chocolate are always with. Finally, enjoy drinking their coffee together either inside a cozy home setting or outdoors watching sunset at valley if weather permits - depending on what fits best for each individual group’s preferences!
Our goal is that by participating in this activity travelers gain not only insight into Turkish coffee but also an appreciation for traditional customs that have been passed down through generations here at Cappadocia.

Born in 1490, Mimar Sinan (The Great Architect Sinan) lived in this stone house until he was 21 and went to Istanbul to become the greatest architect the Ottoman Empire.

The house of famed architect Mimar Sinan has become a tourist destination in the region for people interested in seeing the roots of the Ottoman Empire’s most famous architect.

The house was restored as a museum in 2004 and opened to tourism.
Visitors marvel at the centuries-old structure with its grain vault, kitchen with light flooding the room and an underground gallery .

Elmalı Kilise (or the Apple Church) a smaller cave church. Was built around 1050 and has carved into four irregular pillars the sign of a Greek cross with these pillars support its central dome. Restoration on the church was completed in 1991, but the frescos continue to chip off, revealing a layer of earlier paintings underneath. The church's paintings depict scenes of the saints, bishops, and martyrs. and to the right of the altar, a Last Supper with the symbolic fish (the letters of the word fish in Greek, ΙΧΘΥΣ, stand for "Jesus Christ, Son of God, the Savior"). The name of the church is believed to refer to a reddish orb in the left hand of the Archangel Michael in the dome of the main apse, or possibly to an apple tree that grew in the vicinity.
