🛖The majority of Kümbet Evleri, identified with Harran, still exist. There are two reasons why the domes of their houses in Harran are covered with bricks. One is the absence of wood material due to the desert nature of the region, and the other is brick material, which is abundant in Harran. The domes of the houses, which reach a maximum height of 5 meters from the inside, were built with a series of 30-40 bricks. The domes and walls, whose weaves were connected with clay plaster, were plastered with this mortar from the inside and outside. Harran houses are cool in summer and warm in winter in accordance with the climate of the region.

Göbeklitepe is the oldest known cultural building complex in the world, located near the village of Örencik, 18 km northeast of the city center of Şanlıurfa. The common feature of these structures is that 10-12 T-shaped obelisks are arranged in a circular plane, and between them they are built with a stone wall. In the center of this structure, two taller obelisks were placed facing each other. Humans, hands and arms, various animals and abstract symbols are engraved or carved on most of these obelisks. The motifs in question have been used too intensively to be an adornment from one place to another. Bull, boar, fox, snake, wild duck and vulture are the most common motifs in animal motifs. The cultural structures here are understood to have been built by the last hunting groups who were close to farming and ranching. In other words, Göbekli Tepe is an important cultural center for hunter-gatherer groups that have a highly developed and deep belief system.
