Nic Mwangi left Kenya for Dubai to build and improve his fighting skills and he did it remarkably fighting great boxers in the Arab Archipelago of the United Arab Emirates. When he got a call from Kenya Professional Boxing Commission (KPBC) to report for the nationa;l call to battle a Tanzanian known as Cosmas Cherksa for the World Alkliance Boxing Association (WABA) Supreme World Super Lightweight Title, Nic took the call as a national duty.
Being a crop of Kenyan resilients and hard punchers coming from the national boxing team known as The Squad, Nic knows only to win and he is prepared to face Comas Cheka from Tanzania in sobre mood come December 1, 2022. As for Cheka,. even Mount Kilimanjaro cannot be that tall for him as he trains to capture the world's supreme world title belt. To him, it is just another call.

The WABA's Supreme Light Heavyweight African Title fight took place in the city of Abidjan, Ivory Coast pitting the country's rising star Delphin Michel KOFFI against the visiting Ghanaian sensational, Wilson AGBOGBLEAMENU.
The bout which was postponed a month ago had elicited excitement as the two gladiators sent signals to each other's camp for the battle of the year.
The game started on the right footing with both boxers toe to the line of defense while looking for the opening top drive in the killer punch that would have ended the game.
Fans at Village Bingiste of Akoueno in Abidjan, Ivory Coast chewered to their favorite boxer as the fight gathered pace.
This was the first time that the boxers stakeholders in Ivory Coast have seen the golden WABA Championship belt and they prayed to keep it in their country.
In the end Delphin Michel KOFFI from Ivory Coast emerged the winner of the first WABA's Francophone Vs Anglophone derby in 2022 by KO (1st - first round).
WABA's Supervisor OIssa Diallo of Benin reported a massive outpouring of fans at the title fight as he awarded the victor Delphin Michel KOFFI WABA's Golden championship belt.
The fight brought boxing fans as far as Tohgo, Ghana, Burkina faso and other neighboring countries to see history being made.
WABA's small promotional budget championships that aim at assisting up and coming promoters to promote its title fight is gaining momentum as it leads to so many championship fights in the developing countries.
The small budget championships help promoters and boxers to get international exposure while waiting for the MEGA tournaments.
