At Safari Guide Experts we believe that experienced guides are better able than anyone else to design a custom safari that will exceed clients’ expectations. We are the only Tanzanian safari company that is wholly owned and operated by experienced guides. With us, your custom, all-inclusive adventure will be designed for you by experienced guides who have spent their professional lives in the bush

, who understand their clients’ desires (and frustrations) first hand, and who will be the ones actually guiding you. Come with us – we know the territory. The idea of adventure is personal. Almost everyone regards an African safari as an adventure, even though the adventures they choose will vary, and we treat every client as an adventurer. Similarly, the idea of “luxury” varies from person to person. To some, it means deluxe accommodations; to others it means comfortable camping in the bush. But to everyone it means attentive personal service and care, which we strive to provide to every client. So if you choose to stay only at 4-star lodges, intimate camps, or if you choose to trek through the Ngorongoro Highlands with your luggage on a donkey, we will still offer you a luxury adventure experience. Tanzania is extraordinarily rich both in natural beauty and history, and is home to eight UNESCO World Heritage sites. It is probably best known for the vast Serengeti National Park and for the snow-capped peak of Mount Kilimanjaro, the highest mountain in Africa; but it has many lesser-known hidden gems as well. We are familiar with them all, from the best safari camps to the beaches and culture of Zanzibar. Our team of five experienced guides – “SGE-5” – continually researches new locations and sights, and has the knowledge and passion to bring the wonders of Tanzania home to visitors from all over the world. We offer solo or group safaris, family safaris, photographic or other special-interest safaris, and Kilimanjaro climbing safaris throughout Tanzania. Co-Founder and Head Guide Sadock Johnson has been guiding safaris since 2001, and is the vice president of the Tanzanian Tour Guide Association. He has long had in interest in community development, and Safari Guide Experts is a social enterprise company that contributes 10% of its profits to a local community NGO.

Green Season Safari 2020!
March (earlier) is the tailend of calving for wildies. It's a cheaper than peak and you may get a bit of rain but all is green and lush. Tons of babies and fantastic predator action (and if you're lucky like us successful hunts). Include Ndutu and Central Serengeti. Consider about a week ot two weeks long safari and you will never regreat. It is phenomenal. Game drives is great and close up with a lot of fanstastic game, potential hunts for cats.

Make sure you include Tarangire, Ndutu and Serengeti in the plan and you will love the green season. Less dust and fewer tourists. You may read many discouragements on travel pages but that is advantage of it. I will be here to guide you from the beggining to end. For 2020 we have another special two week in Tanzania for those who are looking at a different Safari experience.
Part of the reason for this safari is to provide an eye opening like never before on Safari with proceeds donation to the Moshi Youth Village construction. You will get to see some of the work we do and meet the people who actually make Tanzania tick. - and enjoy this amazing safari destination, I look forward to meeting you in Kilimanjaro.

Wildebeest Up Close!
A lone wildebeest is not as impressive as a whole herd, no matter what way you photograph it. (that, or I am just a lousy photographer ...I sometimes think it's the latter)
