TRAVEL BY MONG`ATEKO LTD and KILIMANJARO SAR LIMITED entered into Agreement of Partnership, the clients should make reservation through TRAVEL BY MONG`ATEKO LTD and not KILIMANJARO SAR LIMITED. We agreed to make mount Kilimanjaro the safest touristic Destination in Africa by providing an emergency medical services to ensure the safety of our clients while hiking either Mount Kilimanjaro or/ and Mount Meru.
KSAR helicopter will pick you up from the designated area or point on the mountain, where the KSAR medical team will immediately start an inflight treatment. Upon landing at Moshi Airport or Kilimanjaro International Airport (KIA) will be transport, to take to a place of local residence/ Hotel. If necessary for further medical attention upon landing, you will be taken to KSAR Modern private High Altitude Medical clinic ideal for Acute Mountain Sickness (AMS).

We, TRAVEL BY MONG`ATEKO LIMITED and KSAR ensure our clients a quick response and guarantee your safety regardless the season.KSAR accepts insurance with Evacuation coverage up to 6,000 meters above level.

In case the client lack a proper insurance we are committed to save his/ her life and that client must pay for evacuation costs after he or she is fully recovered. We are happy to inform you all that from today TRAVEL BY MONG`ATEKO LTD is a member at Kilimanjaro SAR. The word SAR stands for Search and Rescue and our main purpose is saving lives to all those in need of help while hiking Mount Kilimanjaro or Mount Meru.
Shortly, Kilimanjaro SAR Ltd is an organization established in 2016, with keen focus on helicopter Operation, specializing in Search and Rescue services starting with Mt. Kilimanjaro and Mt. Meru, committing themselves to a 5 minutes response time from the minute they receive a distress call thus- setting a new global market leading response time for civil search and rescue service.
Their operations are based in Moshi, almost at the slopes of Mt. Kilimanjaro itself, enabling them to be near the person in distress within a matter of few moments.
We will attach important information on our website (www.travelbymongateko.com) for client`s reference to opt which insurance to purchase. A list of all world best insurance companies will be attached and our recommendation to them is that they should have an insurance that covers 6,000 meters above Sea Level.
