MY PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE:
Over 25-years’ work experience as a professional translator/ interpreter. More specifically, my former employers include the USAID, UNDP, CIDA, World Bank and the IMF. My professional specialization includes Finance, Law, Business Accounting, Investment, Commerce, Tax Accounting, Management, Banking, Medicine, Engineering, to name a few. Did simultaneous and consecutive interpreting at business meetings, video conferences, workshops, lectures; Translated high-profile project reports, legal and business documentation and newspaper articles.
5 years of teaching English as a foreign language at Kyiv universities, including Kyiv Institute for Interpreters and Translators.
5 years of experience as an English-language tour guide. Conducted approx. 1, 500 tours around Kyiv for visitors of many nationalities and ages.
MY PROFESSIONAL MILESTONES:
I speak fluent accent-free English. Having worked for a large number of international organizations and translation agencies in a wide range of fields I have gained an exceptionally vast experience in the translation field.
In addition, in March 2020, I launched an educational YouTube Channel “INTERPRETER IN KYIV” where I have been sharing the tricks of trade with the public at large on a gratuitous basis.
The high-quality verbal and visual English-language content (both articles and videos) I have created so far has attracted wide readership and viewership.
