Day 1: Welcome to Uganda
Meet your group tour leader at Entebbe Airport (EBB) for briefing and pick up. After, head off to the hotel for evening relaxation, dinner and a night stay. Preferable accommodation at Entebbe for your overnight stay:

Day 2: Travel to Kibale Forest National Park
Transfer from Entebbe to Kibale Forest National Park your first destination as per the 8 days gorilla tours package. Meet the driver guide and start your journey taking the Kampala-Mityana-Mubende and Fort Portal route, about 6 hours’ drive to Kibale. Settle for lunch at the restaurant or hotel in Fort Portal, enjoy the cool and refreshing air of this beautiful tourism city. After lunch, you may have brief tour at The Toro Kingdom and proceed to check in at the lodge in Kibale or around Fort Portal.

Day 3: Chimpanzee Trek & Bigodi Wetland Walk
Visiting chimpanzees in Kibale National Park begins early morning after your African cup of tea/coffee, then briefing at Kanyanchu Visitor Centre. A chimpanzee trekking session in the morning takes 2-4 hours and you will be accompanied by a guide. Chimps share a lot with humans, about 98% of their DNA is same to that of human beings.
On chimpanzee tracking, you will be observing the daily behaviors of chimpanzees, taking pictures and also stand a chance to view other primates, birds. You will settle for lunch after trekking with chimpanzees in Kibale and in the afternoon, incorporate a guided nature walk in Bigodi wetland.

Day 4: Queen Elizabeth Park & Afternoon game drive
Set off for Queen Elizabeth National Park, Uganda’s 2nd biggest park, also famous for its sweeping savanna plains and a home to tree climbing lions. Driving from Kibale to Queen Elizabeth N/Park is a short distance covering about 2-3 hours. When you arrive, check into the lodge, enjoy lunch and relax, then embark on an afternoon game drive along Kasenyi track. Kasenyi game track wildlife viewing takes 2-3 hours and you will be viewing lots of elephants, large herds of buffaloes, hyenas, antelopes, birds, lions, warthogs, leopards.

Day 5: Bwindi through Kabale Town
Enjoy an African cup of coffee, after leave the lodge for a boat cruise on Kazinga channel 2-3 hours’ recreational experience. This comes with incredible view of aquatic species such as hippos, crocodiles, birds and more. Return to the lodge and you will be checking out and transfer to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park.

Day 6: Gorilla Trek & Lake Bunyonyi
Enjoy a hefty breakfast and after, leave the lodge with packed lunch, bottled water and assemble at the park offices for briefing. Get briefed about guidelines for gorilla trekking and start your actual trek at 8:00am, lasting for 2-6 hours with the park guide leading you all through. Also, enjoy one hour of close encounter with mountain gorilla family, take pictures and observe every bit about these large apes. After, return to the lodge, relax and you will check out ready to transfer to Lake Bunyonyi, the deepest of all the lakes in Uganda. Spend your evening relaxing at lake shores, share stories with others on the safari experiences you have had so far on this tour.

Return from canoe ride, enjoy lunch and in the afternoon, meet the local guide for Batwa cultural experience in the nearby local community. The Batwa, the forest keepers live adjacent Lake Bunyonyi, Bwindi, Mgahinga National Parks and other areas. Day 1: Visit Kibale National Park
Kibale National Park is found in Kabarole district, Western Uganda, and getting there takes about 5-6 hours. Start your Uganda road trip to Kibale from Kampala, drive via Mityana, Mubende and to Fort Portal city. At Fort Portal, settle for lunch and you will be transferred to the park to check in at the lodge.

Day 2: Chimpanzee tracking & Bigodi wetland walk- Kabarole
Enjoy a hefty breakfast, after, transfer to Kanyanchu visitor center for briefing about Kibale chimpanzee tracking rules. The actual tracking to see chimpanzees starts at 8:00am and each group of visitors will be led by an experienced guide. When you locate a chimpanzee community, the park guide will allow you to stay for 1 hour with chimpanzees, take pictures. At 2pm after your delicious lunch, head out to Bigodi wetland for nature walk, 2 hours and you will be spotting variety of primates, birds, ad other mammals.

Day 3: Travel to Queen Elizabeth National Park & Night Game drive

A leisurely lunch at the lodge and late in the evening, go enjoy a guided night game drive.

Day 4: Morning Game drive & Boat Cruise on Kazinga Channel.
A game drive through Kasenyi plains starts before sunrise, and you will be targeting early risers in Queen Elizabeth National Park. Animals to catch a glimpse today include buffaloes, elephants, lions, antelopes, birds, warthogs, and many others. In the afternoon, you will set off for a boat trip on Kazinga channel and this will take 2-3 hours with high chances for you to see hippos, crocodiles, aquatic birds.

Day 5: Travel to Bwindi through the Switzerland part of Africa.

Day 6: Gorilla Habituation Experience in Rushaga.

Day 7: Travel to Lake Bunyonyi.

Day 5: Bwindi through Kabale Town

This comes with incredible view of aquatic species such as hippos, crocodiles, birds and more. Return to the lodge and you will be checking out and transfer to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park.

Day 6: Gorilla Trek & Lake Bunyonyi
Enjoy a hefty breakfast and after, leave the lodge with packed lunch, bottled water and assemble at the park offices for briefing. Get briefed about guidelines for gorilla trekking and start your actual trek at 8:00am, lasting for 2-6 hours with the park guide leading you all through. Also, enjoy one hour of close encounter with mountain gorilla family, take pictures and observe every bit about these large apes. After, return to the lodge, relax and you will check out ready to transfer to Lake Bunyonyi, the deepest of all the lakes in Uganda. Spend your evening relaxing at lake shores, share stories with others on the safari experiences you have had so far on this tour.

Day 7: Upside down island, Canoe trek & Batwa Experience
After a leisurely breakfast, set off for a canoe trek and you will be visiting Upside down Island, one of the 29 islands distributed throughout Lake Bunyonyi. On a canoe trek, you will also have a chance to see many bird species, enjoy the beautiful sceneries etc.
Return from canoe ride, enjoy lunch and in the afternoon, meet the local guide for Batwa cultural experience in the nearby local community. The Batwa, the forest keepers live adjacent Lake Bunyonyi, Bwindi, Mgahinga National Parks and other areas. You will explore a lot about the Batwa pygmies, their culture, traditions, lifestyle, the dances and music, norms, practices etc.

Meet your group tour leader at Entebbe Airport (EBB) for briefing and pick up. After, head off to the hotel for evening relaxation, dinner and a night stay. Preferable accommodation at Entebbe for your overnight stay:

Day 2: Travel to Kibale Forest National Park
Transfer from Entebbe to Kibale Forest National Park your first destination as per the 8 days gorilla tours package. Meet the driver guide and start your journey taking the Kampala-Mityana-Mubende and Fort Portal route, about 6 hours’ drive to Kibale. Settle for lunch at the restaurant or hotel in Fort Portal, enjoy the cool and refreshing air of this beautiful tourism city. After lunch, you may have brief tour at The Toro Kingdom and proceed to check in at the lodge in Kibale or around Fort Portal.

Day 3: Chimpanzee Trek & Bigodi Wetland Walk
Visiting chimpanzees in Kibale National Park begins early morning after your African cup of tea/coffee, then briefing at Kanyanchu Visitor Centre. A chimpanzee trekking session in the morning takes 2-4 hours and you will be accompanied by a guide. Chimps share a lot with humans, about 98% of their DNA is same to that of human beings.
On chimpanzee tracking, you will be observing the daily behaviors of chimpanzees, taking pictures and also stand a chance to view other primates, birds. You will settle for lunch after trekking with chimpanzees in Kibale and in the afternoon, incorporate a guided nature walk in Bigodi wetland.
