Adult female Siato of the Kyaguliro mountain gorilla group 'B' gave birth yesterday to a healthy baby. The group composition now becomes 7 individuals.

We have the Forest Elephants which are smaller in size and mainly found in Kibale and Bwindi National Parks and Bush elephants, these are gigantic in size and found in most of our Savannah parks like Kidepo, Murchison Falls and Queen Elizabeth National Parks. Congratulations Ugandan medalists at the just concluded Olympics games in Tokyo
Uganda bagged two gold medals thanks to Peruth Chemutai in the women’s 3000m steeplechase race and world 5000m record holder, Joshua Cheptegei who triumphed in the men’s 5,000m finals.
Cheptegei also won a bronze whereas Jacob Kiplimo won bronze in the men’s 1000 metres as Uganda finished 37th overall out of 206 nations and second in Africa out of 54 countries, only below Kenya during the games that officially ended on Sunday.
