Zebra' crossings are marked with alternate white stripes on the road and zigzag lines on both sides. These lines warn drivers on possible road crossing pedestrians and drivers must give way to them. It's one point of the road where Children, the old , pregnant mothers, the disabled and all other people walking feel safe to cross.
Drivers, motorcyclists especially boda boda riders please reduce speed, drive with caution, respect the zebra crossing, because EACH LIFE MATTERS

Elephants have a significant role in the ecosystem.
They make pathways in dense forested habitat that allow passage for other animals. An elephant footprint can also enable a micro-ecosystem that, when filled with water, can provide a home for tadpoles and other organisms.
Being large grazers, they control the amount of grass which in turn reduces the risk of wild fires.
Their dung provides fertility to the soil and allows seed dispersal encouraging multiplication of different plant species.
Elephants face poaching as humans trade their tusks for money.
Also are sometimes killed by people living near their habitats after they cross to gardens. Today, it's world elephant day.
Do everything possible to conserve elephants.
