Facts about African elephants

They're the world's largest land animal
You can tell the three species apart by their ears.
Their trunks have mad skills.
Their tusks are actually teeth.
They've got thick skin.
Elephants are constantly eating.
They communicate through vibrations.

There are around 5,000 elephants in Uganda today. They are mostly found in the landscapes of Kidepo, Murchison-queenelizabeth national parks

These wonderful animals can only be found in Lake Mburo and Kidepo Valley. However, Lake Mburo National Park makes it the best for being the closest to Uganda's capital city, Kampala, and having the highest number of Zebra than Kidepo Valley National Park.

Behold the gentle giants of the African savannah - a beautiful family of elephants strolling calmly through the warm and inviting light of the setting sun. Did you know that elephants are incredibly intelligent and social creatures, with a complex social structure and a deep sense of family bonds? Watching this family of adults and babies walking in perfect harmony, it's easy to see the love and affection they have for each other. Against the backdrop of the vivid orange and red hues of the setting sun, and with just a few fluffy white clouds drifting lazily across the sky, this is a moment of pure magic and beauty. It's a privilege to be able to witness such a scene, and I'm grateful for every second I get to spend in the company of these incredible creatures.
