Mountain gorilla families have increased from 36 groups to 50 gorilla families.
The total mountain gorillas have increased from 400 to 459 as of the December 2018 census.
Globally the total of mountain gorillas has increased from an estimate of 1004 to 1063 in number. #Uganda
