The Ross' Turaco (musophaga rossae) is a spectacular purple turaco with a yellow bill and face plus a red crest. They are mainly found in dense lowland and mountain forests, they prefer the canopy level of forests. They act like a typical turaco, bouncing through the trees, and are agile climbers. They are considered frugivores but also eat flowers, buds, insects, moths, snails and slugs.
The female Ross's Turaco lays 2 eggs and both the male and female share time incubating the eggs for 21-24 days....................................................................................

Facts you didn't know about The Yellow Billed Stork;

They have one of the fastest swallowing reflexes, which enables them to catch moving prey in water very quickly.
They can snap their beaks shut in just 0.025 seconds.
Yellow Billed storks nest in groups in trees, sometimes with other species.
They regurgitate water over their nestlings, to keep them cool, and to encourage water intake.
Interestingly the yello Billed storks stand on one leg, and stir the water and mud with the other(leg), disturbing their prey, and then catch it quickly....................................................................................

The Common warthogs (Phacochoerus Africana) is a piglike animal black/brown in colour with warts and protruding tusks(teeth), weighing between 50 to 150kg for a fully grown hog, with a lifespan of about 18years.
They're known for their keen hearing and smell with a poor eye sight and a very poor memory.

"The warthog is so forgetful that when chased by a predator, it can stop midway, after forgetting why it was running in the first place".............................................................................

Have you ever imagined that Murchison Falls National Park is Uganda's largest national park with the worlds most powerful waterfall? It is located at the end of the Albertine Rift Valley in the districts of Nwoya, Buliisa, Kiryandongo and Masindi.
The Park covers an area of approximately 3,893 square kilometres and it is home to 76 mammal species and 451 bird species making it a favourable spot for your safari.
