Rwanda was listed by CNN amongst top 18 worlds beautiful destinations one must visit in 2018.
This is one of Africas smallest country located in central Africa, it has been surfing a tide of impressive information in the recent years as it has settled from tribal conflicts. In addition to the peace, Rwanda has got these glowing numbers of the charming volcanic landscape, endangered mountain gorillas, very clean streets and a stable government.
The last year 2017 in May Rwanda raised their prices of gorilla trekking permits to $1,500 almost three times than a permit in the neighboring countries like Uganda. The raising of the prices was to angle a more swank market provided with the opening of the exceptional lodges and boosting the country's tourism economy including Nyungwe House. The nyungwe house is allocated in the Nyungwe forest where you will experience a wildlife environment composed of hippos, crocodiles, lions and rare species of primates, plus Akagera Volcanoes. Akagera reintroduced the Big five black rhinos in 2017 that had completely vanished for last 10 years.
You don’t want to miss deferred a knee-wobbling which are 50-meters above the sea level of the Nyungwe Forest plus canopy walks taking guests through the thin 200-meter bridge across canopies swarming with life. This one of the most amazing experiences one would have in the wilderness of central Africa.

Murchison Falls National Park
The finest all round protected area for wildlife, balanced with the experience of evening bonfires at the bush camp or luxury lodge. If your timing is right on a game drive, it's Eden before the fall; leopards resting in trees, roaming herds of elephants and giraffes traipsing the savannah. Its powerful namesake waterfall is where the Victoria Nile crashes through a thin channel on its final descent into Lake Albert.

Chimpanzee trekking Uganda.
Chimp tracking is one of Uganda’s astonishing wildlife activities besides gorilla trekking in the Bwindi impenetrable national park. Trekking chimpanzees give a chance to explore other birdlife of different species and wildlife like primates of different species at a close and convenient site foraging in the wild and designated spots in the jungle of Africa.
Chimp trekking in Uganda offers world’s largest population of chimps and Africa at large. Uganda has got over 5700 chimps inhabiting in the forests of the western part of Uganda and different places for chimp trekking with experienced guides to take you to most suitable spots for chimpanzees.
Chimpanzees live in huge communities of about 100 individuals and some of these communities have been habituated for tourism. These habituations are made in a way of making wild chimps accommodating to human presence by continuous visits from skilled guides and this usually goes on for as long as years, after around that time chimps start adopting living around human.
Un-habituated chimpanzees tend to run away when approached by humans. Visitors visiting habituated chimps in the designated sites spend around one-hour maximum with the group. These chimps share 98.7% of the human DNA, and like the human, chimpanzees stay in composite societies where they solve their problems make and use tools, engage in elaborate interactions and communicate through a variety of sounds and gestures.
Treks are lead by trained rangers to ensure the safety and give great experience for your trekking for they know the best spots for tracking down chimps as well as giving valuable information about the lifestyle of chimpanzees in the wild. Also, some of these chimps got used to the ranger and not welcoming to strangers which makes them back if they don’t see familiar faces.
Chimpanzees can attack you if they don’t see you familiar, it was allegedly reported way back in Budongo forest where habituated chimpanzees attacked tourists who had gone for tracking without guides.
Chimp tracking has two sessions throughout the day ie morning session from 7 am and the afternoon session from 2 pm. Tourists choose due to their schedule. However, each session proffers diverse encounter. For example, during morning hours chimps are very rare, they are in the trees foraging on the tree leaves and hunting for monkeys, while as in the afternoon they come down getting back together in their groups escaping the heat and the sun and groom, mate etc.
Tracking sessions allow not more than 8 tourists; sessions are limited to avoid destroying the natural habitat as well as not allowed to children below 16 years with no exception.

22/11/2017

Across Lake George to the northeast of Queen Elizabeth National Park in the west of Uganda is the Kibale Forest, National Park. Although these forests are connected and chimpanzees are found in the Queen Elizabeth National Park, we recommend seeing our closest relatives in the Kibale area as it’s a little easier to find the chimpanzees. In fact, the Kibale Forest is recommended as the best place in the whole of East Africa for seeing chimpanzees.
Take the famous trails to Kanyanchu Visitors Center through the park, the walk in the park takes around 3 hours before getting to Kanyanchu to start spotting the chimps and other primates like black and white colobus monkeys plus a diversity of bird species.
But after spotting a group of chimps tourists are allowed to hang around with them for over an hour or even more as they feed, play and relax.
Chimpanzee trekking requires a trekking permit same way as gorilla trekking. Visitors are required to possess chimpanzee trekking permits for the goodness of the wildlife and the visitors as well.
Throughout the trek, you don’t expect to view chimpanzees only but there other added wildlife you will encounter on the trek and these include red-colobus mangabeys, blue and red-tailed monkeys and grey-cheeked mangabeys moving back and forth in the tree branches of the forest. Plus Kanyanchu primate walk giving the advantage to spot the thirteen (13) primate species of the Park.
we can organize you a safari to this amazing place, for reservations contact us at [email protected] or call us on +256774624300 and _256701624306.
