How Gorilla Trekking Activity Is Conducted.
In the morning after your breakfast, you will be guided by your driver guide who will be keeping you Gorilla permits that were paid earlier. You will reach the briefing area to clear and you will be introduced to the authorities and get assigned to a group that you will be trekking. Normally when you get into the group, you will be assigned a group leader who is normally armed with other game rangers. With them, they carry machetes and fire arm basically to clear the thicket for easy passage and to shoot in the sky in case they come across any wild animal along the trekking areas. These operatives will always ask you to a potter who will carry your light luggage with at least 2 liters of water and your packed lunch that you got from your accommodation place.

The average family or group of mountain gorillas consists of 20 individuals. Not every gorilla tribe welcomes tourists; some gorilla groups prefer to live in the wild. There are currently 34 mountain gorilla families who are acclimated to having people visit them. Ten of them are in Rwanda, fifteen are in Uganda, and eight are in the Democratic Republic of the Congo.

How do Lions kill their prey?
In a successful hunt, the prey is knocked off balance, dragged down and then killed with a bite to the back of the neck or the throat. In some cases, a kill can be a bloody, drawn out procedure. Buffalo have been known to fend off lion attacks for hours before succumbing to loss of blood and energy. The strongest male lion will eat first, followed by other members of the pride. Lionesses will feed themselves first, with cubs getting the scraps.

Hippopotamus (Hippopotamus amphibius)
Weighing between 1,300 and 3,200 kg, Hippopotamus inhabits the lower reaches of Uganda’s rivers and small lakes and spends the day in water emerging at night to feed on short grass swards. It is one of the most sought-after big animals on safari in Uganda.

They seldom move more than 3 km from water and visit previously-grazed floodplain sites where their feeding activities maintain ‘hippo lawns.’

Hippos have stumpy legs, splayed toes, and no protective hooves reflecting the amount of time spent in water, where their movement is facilitated by long supple back and kicking movements of the hind limbs. Water is used as a daytime refuge, and the ears and nostrils have muscular valves allowing submergence.

Hippos have a marked preference for deep backwaters rather than for fast-flowing reaches. They are gregarious during the day and form unstable groups of females and bachelors; mating takes place in water, and males fight fiercely over access to females. The massive aquatic mammals have thick skin devoid of sweat glands, and thus they depend on water to cool their bodies. They appear physiologically adapted to minimize energy expenditure and accumulate large amounts of fat.

This large, lumbering aquatic animal occurs naturally on most African lakes and waterways, where it spends most of the day submerged but emerges from the water to graze at night. Hippos are strongly territorial, with herds of ten or more animals being presided over by a dominant male.

The best places to see the hippopotamus on Uganda safari are in Murchison Falls, Queen Elizabeth, and Lake Mburo national parks, abundant in suitable habitats.

However, hippos are still quite common outside of Uganda’s reserves, and they are responsible for killing more people than any other African mammal.

Have you been to the top of Murchison falls?
Murchison Falls National Park is Uganda’s largest and one of its oldest parks, located in the Albertine Rift districts of Masindi, Buliisa, Nwoya, and Kiryadongo. The park is notable for being home to four of the big five creatures, which include the elephant, lion, buffalo, and leopard. Even if the park does not have enough rhinos to accommodate all five animals, travelers on their way to Murchison Falls National Park can stop by the Ziwa Rhino Sanctuary, which is a safe haven for the country’s endangered rhinos.

Murchison Falls National Park provides the greatest adventure tours to its visitors because of the variety of tourist attractions and activities that may suit their various wants and wishes while on their Uganda national parks trip. The park is home to 76 animal species and 400 bird species, making it an ideal location for wildlife enthusiasts. However, it is not just a destination for travelers interested in animal viewing, but also for adventure tourists who may participate in a range of outdoor recreational activities.

Hello world ,as next year begins, hold my hand and follow me to Africa - Uganda the pearl my home. Come see my family at Bwindi impenetrable national park.

With a question of Why you should travel to Uganda, we got you covered.
According to reports, gorilla tourism dominates the Uganda tourist sector. Bwindi Impenetrable National Park is home to more than half of the endangered mountain gorilla species' surviving population. In Bwindi, going gorilla trekking is really a wonderful experience. In the Mgahinga Gorilla National Park, there is just one family. Murchison Falls, the most powerful waterfall in the world and the focal point of Murchison Falls National Park, are located in Uganda. The largest and most established safari park in Uganda is reportedly Murchison Falls National Park. It is the only location where you can view all five of the big game species. Chimpanzee trekking ought to be yet another excellent excuse to go. East Africa's primate capital is Kibale Forest National Park, which also boasts the biggest primate population of any park in Africa. In Kibale forest, chimpanzee tracking is a once-in-a-lifetime experienc

BWINDI IMPENETRABLE NATIONAL PARK AND ITS 1ST GORILL TOURISM GROUP NAMED AS MUBARE

Did you know that the Mubare gorilla group was the first to open to tourists in Uganda in April 1993? Uganda today has nine habituated gorilla groups for tourism and one research group. Bwindi is the source of five major rivers that pour into Lake Edward, and it is spread out over a variety of rugged slopes and valleys.

Bwindi Impenetrable National Park is located in southwestern Uganda, near the Rift Valley. Its mist-covered mountains are engulfed by one of Uganda's oldest and most biologically diverse rainforests, dating back over 25,000 years and containing around 400 plant species. This "impenetrable forest" also protects an estimated 459 mountain gorillas - about half the world's total, including many habituated groups that can be followed.

Another 120 mammals live in this biologically rich region, including various primate species such as baboons and chimps, as well as elephants and antelopes. This woodland is home to over 350 bird species, including 23 Albertine Rift endemics.
At least 200 butterfly species live in Bwindi, including eight Albertine rift endemics. There are also far too many reptiles in the house.

The neighboring towns of Buhoma and Nkuringo both have an impressive array of luxury lodges, rustic Bandas, and budget campsites, as well as restaurants, craft stalls, and guiding services. Opportunities abound to discover the local Bakiga and Batwa Pygmy cultures through performances, workshops, and village walks. All this can be enjoyed when you book our Uganda gorilla trekking safari tour:
