Uganda

Uganda is the Pearl of Africa, the freshest part of the globe, a beautiful country located on the East side of Africa, landlocked, lots of sceneries, summer all year round. Also referred to as the Pearl of Africa because of it's strategic location along the equator and it is where the wonders of Africa are met, such as the source of the world’s longest River, referred to as the jewelry of the Nile.

Uganda’s back ground is simple and more related to the Baganda tribe, hence the name "Uganda “.

Its capital is Kampala. The Currency used is the shilling; Uganda has a population of around 30 million.

Uganda’s country code is “256” and to make “The Pearl Dream” come true, a 360 degrees turn over this country through this directory is the noble cause.

A directory is a book containing an alphabetical index of the names and addresses of persons in a city, district, organization, etc., or of a particular category of people.

““THE 256 DIRECTORY” – “THE PEARL DREAM” initially started working with the Uganda Tourism Board under the Ministry of Tourism in 2018, and since that time has established regular news-feeds for timely distribution to the Uganda travel industry via closed, managed networks. Elements from these feeds are made available to the public offline via this directory and online via this website [www.the256directory.com], and comprise regular updates on travel offers, new airline routes, new holiday programs from tour operators and much else of interest to the Ugandan resident, world traveller and holidaymaker.

In addition to the contact information, “THE 256 DIRECTORY” – “THE PEARL DREAM” offers a district-by-district link to official government travel advice, weather forecast and climate statistics, as well as to the Word Travels destination guide and even the CIA fact book for in-depth country profiling.

On this day of Tuesday August the 6th in the Year of our Lord Jesus Christ 2019, the Holy Spirit through Shalom Royal Publishers, inspired me to embark on this project of creating an online and offline directory code named “The 256 Directory – The Pearl Dream”
