Happy for his Recovery 🙏

This is Tinfayo, the lead silverback of Mishaya group - a family of 7 mountain gorillas in Bwindi Impenetrable National Park, Uganda. Dr. Ricky's recent health check found them in overall good health. Note the scar/discoloration on Tinfayo's lower lip. In June 2021, he was severely wounded, his lower lip nearly split in two. We provided supportive treatment, administering antibiotics and pain killers via dart and as you can see he made a full recovery!
