All of us at World Class Vacations are saddened by the passing of our good friend and colleague, Chris Higgins. Chris was our Director of Orlando Operations for 39 years before retiring a couple of years ago. Chris had faithfully trained and passed the torch to our current Director of Orlando Operations, Andrew Stine. Chris coordinated ‘life-changing experiences for hundreds of thousands of young adults and chaperones in our High School Class and Performing Arts Program. Our Sales & Marketing Director, Bruce Bevan was a childhood friend of Chris and I became good friends with Chris and Bruce in college, prior to all of us becoming business colleagues. For those of you who were fortunate enough to know Chris, you know he loved people and was a genuine, kind, caring, charismatic, and passionate person who wanted to make people happy! Chris was known for his unparalleled customer service, empathetic nature, and his ’snappy fingers and whistle’ greetings, which just made you smile and feel good!

Chris’s brother, Mark Higgins, upon whom Chris relied tremendously and who was also an integral part of the World Class Orlando Team, informed us of the devastating news, however, Mark wanted everyone to know that Chris unexpectedly passed in his sleep, after a night out with family and friends. Mark said that there will be a Celebration of Life in Orlando and in Pottsville, PA, where Chris was born and raised. We will send information on both Celebrations when it is finalized by Mark, along with information on the World Class Vacations ‘Christopher Higgins' Scholarship Program. We can not think of a better way to pay tribute to Chris than to help students who would not have the opportunity otherwise to participate in our Class or Performing Arts Experiences.
