In celebration of the 250th anniversary of the Hammond-Harwood House, we will be hosting the Two Great Houses Tour on September 19!

Guests will see the two houses, the Hammond-Harwood House and the Chase-Lloyd House, that architect William Buckland worked on. Guests will learn about the architectural details and the longstanding social history that connects these two great houses on Maryland Avenue.

Food historian Joyce White marks her first book, “Cooking Maryland’s Way: Voices of a Diverse Cuisine,” with a lecture and book signing Sunday. It’s one of seven great things to do in the coming week in the Annapolis area.

We hope that you join us at The Hammond-Harwood House on September 8th for the launching of 'Cooking Maryland’s Way: Voices of a Diverse Cuisine'!

The doors will open at 1pm, and there will be a brief reading for the food history book by the author, Joyce White. From 2pm-4pm, there will be a Meet & Greet with the author and signing of purchased books.
