I am so excited to share with you all that going forward, I am going to be specializing in specific destinations. Why, you may ask? I want to be able to provide the best service to you as my client and it’s simply not possible to be an expert in every location around the world. I am excited to share that I will be focusing on the following destinations going forward:
- Disney Destinations: This includes Walt Disney World; Disneyland; Disney Cruise Line; Aulani, a Disney Resort & Spa in Oahu, Hawaii; and Adventures by Disney (small group tours all over the world).
- Universal Orlando
- Maui + Oahu, Hawaii
- All-Inclusives: Mexico/Caribbean
- Alaskan Cruises (Disney + Holland America)
I have specialized training in these areas/locations as well as personal visits and have curated a great list of resorts that I love (and my clients love!) and can recommend wholeheartedly. I am excited to be able to offer these destinations to my clients going forward!

Welcome to my newly-revamped travel advisor FB page! Thanks for checking it out! First things first - a quick introduction! My name is Kristin Sanford and I'm a travel advisor with Hourglass Travel. We have a small team of us across the United States - and combined together, so much expertise to share!

A little about me - I'm married (15 years) to my husband Brett and we have two kids - Jack (12) and Leila (10). We also have the cutest mini golden doodle named Lucy (4). 😄 We live in Minnesota and absolutely love it there. We are big MN Vikings fans + love to spend our summers on the lake boating.

I started traveling after college and fell in love with seeing different parts of the world + the memories each trip created. My goal in being a travel advisor is to help other families create vacation memories that will last a lifetime.

As a client, you can help with as little or as much of the planning you'd like to with your vacation! Some clients already have a resort they want to go to and simply want me to book it for them. Other clients have a general idea of what they're hoping for and that's where it gets fun! I'll do all the research and present you with various options until we land on one that you absolutely love and are excited about!

It is FREE to use me to plan your vacation 🤯 - which most people don't realize! (Travel agents get paid from the resort/cruise line/etc and is already built into the costs you see online. We get paid when we book your vacation AND if & only you travel it.)

Let's chat spring break! Even though it's far away, I've talked with so many families who are already getting their trips booked. 🤩

My family LOVES to travel over spring break - last year we went to Disney's Aulani Resort & Spa In Hawaii - it was incredible! Highly recommend. 🏄‍♀️

This year, i've been looking at some various all-inclusives or potentially a family-friendly cruise! Tempted to block a group of rooms on a cruise ship or resort and invite all of YOU! :-) 🛳🏝
