Feel blessed to have great reviews 🙏🏾 It feels great to be a super Host! This place was wonderful! The location is perfect, and close to main roads, while also feeling removed. It's open, spacious, and the owners were very accommodating to ensure we had an enclosed space for our puppy and kids. We loved the deck, which offered plenty of room to have morning coffee, meals, and s'mores at the fire pit. The bedrooms were all a great size, and the beds were all comfy. We are a family of 6, and we felt that we could spread out easily in the cabin. There is a great playroom upstairs which offered a foosball table, as well as various card games, puzzles, and children's toys. We really appreciated all the extra touches that were placed on making this place special for anyone, but especially a family. The new Weber grill was great, and a cinch to use. Over the course of our week in the cabin, we took in kayaking, swimming, and fishing at the nearby White Pines Lake. Other sites we took in included the legendary Calaveras Big Trees (3 miles up the road), Lake Alpine, the historic gold mining town of Columbia (30 minutes away), and Cafe Espresso which offers great burgers, and ice cream! The owners were very good at staying in touch with us regarding anything we might have needed, and check-in was very smooth and secure. We felt safe and relaxed at this cabin, and we highly recommend it as a wonderful alternative to the insane Tahoe crowd. Arnold is a wonderful community, and we will return soon!
