This week was all about strawberries! We made homemade strawberry cookies, chocolate covered strawberries and milkshakes. We painted rocks as strawberries, and we ended it off going to the strawberry patch 🍓

This week we learned all about different emotions! We learned that it’s okay to have emotions and how to handle our emotions. We also sent off our chicks to their forever home and let go of our butterflies!

This week we learned about everything under the sea! We learned about deep sea animals, tiger sharks, megalodon sharks, SpongeBob, and many more things. Today we ended it off with an under the sea party! We painted some canvases, had a bunch of treats & stuffed shells and garlic bread for lunch!

We also celebrated a birthday today, Happy Birthday Brian!

Last week we learned about Dental Hygiene! We made treats like parfaits which are good for our teeth and made teeth out of apples, marshmallows, and peanut butter. We also did some experiments. We let soda and eggs sit in soda for a couple days so we could see the effect it has on our teeth. We also experimented with vinegar too, which made the egg squishy. We then ended off the week with our last Black History field trip, which involved going to a grave yard and going out to eat!

Since Presidents Day was this week, we learned all about previous presidents! We voted for class officers and of course we made treats! We made chocolate covered pretzels and Oreos. Also cookies to represent Abraham Lincoln 🙂

Our first field trip of 2024! Today we went to the Greensboro History Muesum and completed a scavenger hunt. After we stopped at Crafted for lunch!
