Canada is set to give more than 15000 Permanent Residency on arrival for Caregivers from 2024 - 2026.

Here are the main details.

1. If you are a caregiver or have experience in caregiving with certificate to show, this information is for you.

2. Considering that immigration is tightening in many countries including the UK, Canada, Australia, New Zealand, it is wise to take this serious and take action.

3. Full details are not out yet however the proposal include lower English language requirement assessment score.

4. However you need the standard things, a job offer in Canada (I will provide the list of accredited employers once I have it), Police certificate, minimum of diploma certificate and at least one year experience.

10 WAYS TO WIN FULLY FUNDED GRADUATE POSITIONS

1. Contact professors directly: Research universities, find your course, and email professors in your field. This is the cold mailing approach. (Best approach)

2. Government/school-funded scholarships: Search for publicly available scholarships and apply. Common in the UK and parts of Europe.

3. Advertised positions: Look for scholarship positions advertised by Professors or departments and apply. You will find this on Twitter and LinkedIn. Follow Graduate School resource persons on Twitter and LinkedIn to find these offers on their posts.

4. USA schools with guaranteed funding: Apply to schools that offer funding to all admitted students. Most US Universities will boldly put this on their site.

5. Proposal submission: Email graduate coordinators with your research proposal and ask to be connected with a professor in your field. This is very effective with Australian Universities.

6. Scholarship databases: Utilize online databases like findaPhD, Fastweb, or Scholarship Owl to search for scholarships that match your criteria. Effective for Universities in Europe

7. Social media and online platforms: Follow universities, scholarship providers, and researchers on social media and online platforms like LinkedIn, Twitter, or ResearchGate to stay informed about scholarship opportunities. Effective if you are active on these platforms.

8. University scholarship offices: Contact the scholarship offices of your desired universities directly to inquire about available scholarships and application procedures.

9. External funding agencies: Research and explore funding opportunities from external agencies like the Fulbright Program, Ford Foundation, or the World Bank.
