This morning, the Panama City Beach Police Department, in cooperation with the Bay County Sheriff's Office, conducted a comprehensive aerial search of our coastline using the Sheriff's Office helicopter. We have identified a notable presence of sharks, specifically bull sharks, near the first sandbar.

As a precaution, we will be flying single red flags and purple flags along our beaches to indicate the presence of dangerous marine life. We urge everyone to use caution when entering the water.

Please remember, this is the sharks' natural habitat. Staying aware and taking the necessary precautions will ensure a safe beach experience for everyone.

Meet, Scott and Leigh Anne Knight who are owners of Tropic Winds 1309 and 1109 and managers of Tropical Beach Getaways. They are from Oxford , Ga and currently live there full time. They have one daughter and son-in-law and two granddaughters who live in Georgia as well.

They purchased their first unit in 2016 and their two years later in 2018. PCB has been a travel destination for them their whole life.
They wanted a place on the gulf coast to be able to relax and come whenever they pleased.

Their favorite part of PCB is the beautiful views of the ocean and the white sandy beaches. The seafood here is always fresh and they love going out to eat at the various restaurants around town.

When they aren’t spending time on the beach, they enjoy so many of the fun activities including going to zoo world, playing putt putt, hanging by the pool, and shopping.

Meet, Tate and Meghann Gaines. They are owners of Portside Q4. They reside in Oxford, Ga with their two daughters who are 7 months old and 4 years old.
They purchased their unit in April of 2020 and have loved owning a piece of the gulf coast ever since. They love traveling to the beach and seeing the beautiful blue waters and white powdery sand.
Their favorite activities while at the beach are enjoying the beach, the pool, putt putt, and heading to zoo world with their daughters.
Tate and Meghann have been traveling to PCB since they were kids and knew they wanted their girls to enjoy the beach as much as they did, and owning a piece of paradise allowed them to accomplish this.

Harold and Sue Malcom are owners of 704 and 804. They reside in Newborn, Georgia. They live on a small farm that has a pecan orchard and where they also raise Black Angus cows. Their favorite interest at this time in their lives is making memories with their children, grand children, and great grand children and PCB is the best place to do that!

They purchased their units in 2022 and have loved owning a piece of the Gulf of Mexico ever since. They recently updated the master bathroom with walk in showers and updated furniture in the second bedrooms as well. Adding their own touch to the units makes it even more welcoming.

They love Panama City beach because of the white sandy beaches, bluish green waters, and seafood. They love that it has many activities that families can enjoy.

When they come to pcb they love the beach and spending their days enjoying the beautiful sunshine. They love going to some of their favorite restaurants in PCB; Captain Anderson’s, Billy’s Oyster Bar, Run Away Island, Salty Sue’s and Back Beach BBQ.

John and Marti Maher are owners of tropic Winds 602!

They live in Calgary, Alberta, Canada and have lived there for over 50 years! Originally from Newfoundland. They love gardening, long walks, golf, skiing, and are avid curlers. They have 3 children and 2 grandchildren!

PCB has felt like their second home ever since Marti’s mom started coming in 1982 once she retired. Every year they would make the trek down to see her and visit while she was here!

Their favorite thing to do in PCB is take a walk on the beach everyday, visit the state parks, and snorkel while visiting. They absolutely love seafood, and PCB has some of the best fresh local seafood!

One of their favorite things about their condo is being able to sit on the balcony and see the beautiful views of the ocean and watch the dolphins swim by, while watching the military aircraft come by practicing their maneuvers.
