As a native Coloradan, I’ve grown up around beautiful scenery and have gained a true love for the outdoors. By day, I’m a Software Engineer, and in my free time I take to my camera. I enjoy a good hike in the mountains or even around town and always have my camera around my neck. Lightning at Sunset
We had our first real lightning show of the season here in South East Aurora. I love it when the storms stay north of us keeping us safe and just gives us a show!

We recently stayed right on the beach in Akumal, Mexico and I was able to capture this amazing sunrise Timelapse with the reflection of the clouds. This was our view every morning while we were there. What a treat!

Mountains, Snow, Cliffs, Fall Colors Oh MY!

This view really blew our minds as we came over the crest of the hill after viewing North Clear Creek Falls. The snow was coming in covering the mountain peaks, the cliffs and rocky slides made for a dramatic view by itself, but then you add in the fall rainbow of color and we were speechless!

Water in the Fall

North Clear Creek Falls is an impressive high altitude waterfall near Slumguillion Pass in Southwest Colorado. I made this photo in the fall of 2021 when mother nature likes to add a punch of color to our beautiful state of Colorado. This long-exposure shot allowed the water to slow down and flow over the polished rocks below and really shows the beauty you can find just off the road.

Lake San Cristobal In Fall

As you descend from the top of Slumgullion Pass, you can stop at an overlook to get a view of the beautiful Lake San Cristobal. We scrambled up some of loose rocky hill side to get a better view of the entire lake and were blessed with this shimmering blue lake reflecting the clouds above, all while surrounded by the fall colors.

It’s one of my favorite things to do, sit back, relax and watch the sunset over a beautiful landscape. Sedona was no exception and didn’t disappoint! The clouds had been blowing through all day, bringing a bit of snow and rain, but they let the sun roll over this wonderful view for sunset so I made this timelapse. Looking forward to many more sunsets over the spring and summer!

While in Sedona, we grabbed some ice cream and enjoyed the view out the back of town. I decided to grab a quick timelapse of the beautiful view and the clouds passing by. I could handle a view like this everyday!
