What wonderful local heroes! She said they wait till after the king tides are done, as storms bring in a lot of it. This effort took them about 3 hours. Wouldn’t it be great if everyone did this, even for just a short time, when they go to the beach? 💙

The Never Ending Book Sale is open to the public during Bandon Library's hours Tues-Thurs 12-5. Fri 10-4. Sat 10-1. Price range is $1-10. Besides current reads you can pick up a movie, puzzle or an antique book. All proceeds help our library in programming, more books and other things a homey library needs!

Love love love this bookstore in Bandon!

We WON GOLD 🏆 for “Place to Buy a Unique Gift” from FLORENCE to BROOKINGS.

We wouldn’t have been able to do that without our amazing supporters and fans!

Brian and I took over on April 1st, 2018 (almost 6 years ago) and we cannot believe the outpouring support we have had from the community.

Check out the new shuttle from Charleston for viewing the Holiday Lights!!!
NEW SANTA’S SHUTTLE (https://www.oregonsadventurecoast.com/event/annual-holiday-lights-at-shore-acres/) from the Charleston Marina! Santa’s Shuttle will run on Thursdays, Fridays, and Saturdays (plus Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, and New Year’s Eve) beginning Thanksgiving evening. The Shuttle is FREE and wheelchair accessible. No reservations are needed! It runs on a first come, first served basis.

The Shuttle will run from 4:15 p.m. to 8 p.m. The last Shuttle will depart from the Charleston Marina at 8 p.m. to ensure everyone has time to enjoy the lights before they must depart Shore Acres at 9 p.m. We anticipate being able to transport between 80-100 passengers to the lights each hour. The shuttles will depart the Marina every 20 minutes or so, depending on traffic conditions.

Santa’s Shuttle is brought to us by a generous grant from The Ford Family Foundation and the Coos Bay-North Bend-Charleston Visitor & Convention Bureau.
