We just opened up our place for rental for 4th of July 2025. Across the lake from the Forks and clear view of fireworks from our deck (see pics). Just a few minutes walk from the Pines. Very close to wrapping up exterior construction and decks for summer rental season. Newly added interior space will be ready to open in Fall. What a transformation! Some before and after photos.

Here are some photos of the construction progress over time. Exterior, upper and lower (new) decks to be completed by June 1. Lower level interior work (newly added bar and lounge/game room area) will be finalized in the Fall and available for renter use upon completion.

Game room/bar/bath addition/remodel and back deck replacement going in for permits with Madera County this coming Monday. Lining up contractor bids and hoping we can start construction after summer!

Up here getting things ready for the summer. Did some dock repair, including installing some lighting. Beautiful sunsets tonight too! Mona was the painting helper/expert.

As contractually agreed with PG&E, who owns the lake, boards go up on the dam tomorrow so lake will start rising. It's already just 10' down which means most docks are floating already (including ours). Should be a full lake this year!
