Rain-N-Bagels in downtown Beaufort make over a dozen flavors of bagels everyday, the bagels are made from scratch and in my opinion are the best, they also do great sandwiches, salads baked goods and smoothies. Next time your in Beaufort stop in for a coffee and bagel.

The magnolia leaves this morning. We have a busy day ahead. Where are Hugh, Brenda, Graham, Clare, James & Maddie when you need them?????

We have broken ground. The project - to build two new two bedroom cottages for our guests. For months we’ve been saying work will start next week. Well, finally the week arrived, and here we go.

The birds at Magnolia don’t care about the chilly weather today.

The men in their top hats today working hard for Beaufort’s Oyster Festival.

All cleaned up after the storm and picked camellias for Katie and David arriving today.

As I look through the many pictures I’ve taken in 2023 I realize how far Duncan and I have come, we’ve achieved a lot, and along the way have met some amazing people and we feel we’ve made some Friends For Life, we’d just like to thank you all for your support, encouragement and kind words. We wish you all a very Happy, Healthy New Year. With love Jackie and Duncan

The gardens outside the Suites are looking very pretty for this weekends Gullah Festival. We are hosting a number of groups attending the 41st Beaufort Gullah Festival.

Looking over the Beaufort River as practice is underway for this weekends Beaufort Airshow….

This was on our morning walk this morning. It took a little longer this morning thanks to this 5 minute delay. Beaufort is beautiful

This evenings view from one of Magnolias recommended restaurants - Saltus River Grill - they do a wonderful job, in such a beautiful setting.
