It’s been a long and tough road. For those that don’t know, I have severe ulcerative colitis. It took me off the water early in the summer of ‘21 leaving me basically house and bed ridden. Since then we’ve had a couple advancements in medication, with the latest change providing me with a much needed improvement in quality of life. It’s also great to get out on the boat we’ve been rebuilding and customizing since 2019, and a much needed break for Kristen Marshall Mattson who, along with the rest of my family have had to pick up all of the extra slack with kids, house, and everything in between. We hope things continue to improve and be able to offer St. John’s river boat tours out of DeLand, FL this coming fall.
