Summer is coming!! Escape the city and enjoy this magical getaway in the woods! Aerie guests can enjoy the community outdoor pool and hot tub between Memorial Day and Labor Day. Nestled in the trees, the pool area includes a pool with a nice waterfall feature (which makes such a lovely and soothing sound!), a hot tub, and a kiddie splash pool. There is a small bathhouse nearby as well. (We also have a private hot tub on the back deck facing up the mountainside!)

So many fun things to do at the Apple Butter Festival!

We have such great music planned for you for the 47th Annual Apple Butter Festival, and we are just thrilled to feature next: The Carpenter Ants! 🐜🐜🐜 Performing in the Berkeley Springs State Park Bandstand in the afternoon on Saturday, October 8, The Carpenter Ants with their old time rhythm and blues, gospel and country funk sound will have your toes tapping and your shoulders shaking. The Ants are one of West Virginia’s longest lasting bands, fine musicians and frequent performers on the internationally renowned Mountain Stage radio show. Weekend (food) exploring continues - amazing breakfast at the Coolfont Resort courtesy of the new chef and her “Mountain Boujie Breakfast” with New Orleans/southern flair. I picked the “Coolfont” with collard greens, shallots and smoked Gouda, and a side salde with garlic buttermilk dressing. It was delicious. Now I should go climb the mountain to work off some of these calories! -Anna

If you like beer, or even if you don’t, I highly recommend ! The adventurous and energetic could actually walk there from but yeah, it would be a hike. They have salads too that are great! And darts. And live music! 🎯 Oh and I’m getting the hot tub ready! More tomorrow - Anna 🌲
