Sit back and enjoy the breezes from poolside on the open water of Bogie Channel. Enjoy tranquil open water views from this charming ground level home. This home comes complete with 10' deep pool on the open water, boat basin, and a lovely screened-in lanai porch for dining outside while enjoying the warm and breezy outdoor temperatures. The pool is one of the largest private pools in the Keys, and the view from it is awesome. Fishing, diving, boating, swimming, and lobstering are just some of the great times you will have while staying at Diver's Delight. Some of the best fishing is nearby. The property is minutes from the ocean and minutes from the famous Bogie Channel. It is just a short hop to the gulf. If you enjoy snorkeling there is a beautiful reef nearby.
This ground-level home has a fenced-in back yard. The neighbor home shares use of the boat basin. Rest assured, the neighboring couple are non-intrusive and will respect your privacy.
While you are staying in Big Pine Key, be sure to visit the famous No Name Pub, just up the road. It is the oldest bar in the Keys, offering delicious pizza, and a variety of tasty items on the menu.
Watch for the Key deer that roam freely all over the island. The tiny Key deer live exclusively on Big Pine Key, which is why speed limits are so slow.
At Diver's Delight, you are close to local shopping, restaurants, tiki bars, and area attractions. Spend a day on one of the local charter boats for fishing, diving or snorkeling.
During your stay, take a trip down to Key West for the daily sunset celebration, a romantic sunset cruise or to visit one of the many venues offering the finest in live entertainment and great food. Be sure to take stroll up and down Duval Street and visit the many art galleries and shops.
Guest access
Travelers can use the pool and deck, two lanais, the yard. Help themselves to the coconuts that fall and pick the ripe kumquats off the treeThe right outside of the lanais. The boat basin is approximately 40x60 and is for your use, and is also shared with the adjoining property.
Interaction with guests
The guests will let themselves in and I will not disturb them during their stay. However if they need help they can reach me and I will get someone to assist them.
The neighborhood
The neighborhood is a nice quiet setting and great for riding bikes or jogging/walking.
Getting around
The Keys shuttle will transport you from the Key West, Fort Lauderdale, and Miami airports.
