Hello! We are Elizabeth and Ed — a husband & wife team whose passion is to provide comfortable and unique stay experiences in North Georgia. 🌿🏕️🌄
We both grew up in the Blue Ridge Mountains of Virginia and love the outdoors. In our free time, we enjoy college football, hiking, fly fishing, horseback riding, and spending time with our family. We live and work in the Atlanta area but frequently can be found seeking out adventures, communing with nature and caring for our cabins. We are truly delighted for the opportunity to welcome you to one of our cabins soon!
Despite all the trees being green, the Blue Ridge Mountains maintain a distinctive blue haze. This is due to the chemical released by the native trees that scatter blue light called isoprene. Trees emit isoprene as a way to protect themselves from excessive heat. 💚⛰️ 💙

Guests can sip coffee over stunning, panoramic mountain views from the screened-in porch before heading into town or deep into the mountains. Some guests choose to stay at the cottage and rejuvenate. If so, we recommend lounging in the living room before a wood-burning fireplace or sway in a hammock from the convenient outdoor hammock pad. Whether you choose to rest or explore, there’s a covered hot tub waiting for you at the end of the day, and the outdoor fire pit is the perfect spot to eat s’mores and stargaze.

The cabin is perfect for cozying up in this frigid winter weather! With temps forecasted to plunge into the single digits, the cabin has been prepped and winterized to the full extent possible. For the guests we have fireplaces, extra blankets, hot chocolate and space heaters.

Cold winter weather is better in a steamy hot tub! Plenty of oversized fluffy towels and the door back inside just a few steps away make this an even better experience. The hot tub water is drained and sanitized between guests for a worry free soak.
