When you step out on the back deck at Sea-renity Bodega, you can get mesmerized by the wide ocean view spread in front of you. Or if it's sunset, you can look to the West/right and see spectacular colors as the sun drops behind Bodega Head. But if you look to the East/left, you see a rolling hillside with grazing cattle 'moo-ing' in the distance. And maybe, if you are lucky, you'll catch a double rainbow!

This week we came across a large school group clamming in Bodega Bay. There’s something about clamming – the excitement of the hunt, the feeling of the sand between your toes, and the satisfaction of a job well done – that just can’t be beat. If you’re looking for a fun, outdoor activity to enjoy with friends or family, look no further than clamming in Bodega Bay.

The best time to go clamming is during the low tide, when the clams are exposed and easier to find. The best tides for clamming in Bodega Bay are from October to April.
