Got plans this coming weekend? Snow is on the ground & more is expected Wed & Friday. We had a cancellation, so the cottage is available January 13th - 10th. Ski Beech Mountain Ski Resort, Sugar Mountain, & Appalachian Ski Mountain, or just build a snowman.

Boone gets on average about 10" of snow in Jan but the ski mnts make snow so you can enjoy tubing and ski through the entire winter months. We are ready for you at Top of the Hollow.

Both Beech Mountain and Sugar Mountain Resorts offer snow tubing, and you can even snow tube at the largest snow tubing park on the East Coast, Hawksnest Resort. Hawksnest offers 30 lanes, 400 to 1,000 feet long, with tubing in four separate park areas. Let gravity do the work!

Speckled Trout Outfitters just celebrated its grand opening in Blowing Rock.

SHOP UPDATE: We will be closed Monday - Wednesday (2/27-3/1) for some retail fixture installations we have been waiting on. Thursday is up in the air but we hope to be back open with regularly scheduled hours. We’ll keep you posted! See y’all this weekend!
