Happy St. Patrick's Day to all our residents at Mountaineer Village!

Today is a day to celebrate Irish culture and heritage, and we hope you'll join us in spreading some green cheer throughout the complex. Whether you're of Irish descent or not, there are plenty of ways to join in on the festivities.

To get started, why not dress up in green and gold? You could wear a green shirt or scarf, paint your nails green, or even go all out with a full-on leprechaun costume. And if you're feeling crafty, why not make some St. Patrick's Day decorations to hang up around your apartment? Think green and gold streamers, shamrock cutouts, and maybe even a pot of gold at the end of a rainbow.

Mountaineer Village is partnering with The Blood Connection to sponsor a blood drive on August 24th, from 11am-4pm. Each donor will receive $20 eGift Card! Each blood donation saves up to 3 lives! Donors need to be at least 16 years old (16 year old need a permission slip which will be at the blood drive), weigh at least 110 pounds, have ID and be in general good health.

Juneteenth is a profound day that commemorates the end of slavery in the United States. Abraham Lincoln declared all enslaved people free by signing the Emancipation Act on January 1, 1863. However, it wasn't until a full two years later on June 19, 1865 that the last of the enslaved people in Galveston, Texas learned of their freedom.

In recognition of the Juneteenth holiday, our office will be closed on Monday June 20th, 2022.

That’s right - the MV pool is now open! You can access the pool with your 4th ID app during office hours only.

Please remember the following pool rules to ensure everyone can have a fun and safe summer!

1.) 1 guest per resident is allowed. Guests must accompany the resident!!

2.) No glass inside the gated pool area.

3.) No pets allowed inside the gated pool area.

⚠️If there is glass or pets in the gated pool area we will have to shut the pool down indefinitely per health code regulations. ⚠️
