We have trails for hikers or bicyclists, boat rentals for the S**o River and any of the numerous lakes and ponds, snowmobiling and cross-country skiing trails, downhill skiing and snowboarding at Shawnee Peak, hunting, fishing, golfing, skijoring, dog sled races, fall foliage, summer road races and numerous cultural events and festivals, including the Maine Lakes Winter Carnival, Lakes Brew Fest, Maine Blues Festival, throughout the thirteen communities that make up the Greater Bridgton Chamber of Commerce. The Greater Bridgton Chamber of Commerce Information Center is located less than one hour from Portland, 1.75 hours from Portsmouth, New Hampshire and three hours from Boston. From Portsmouth and Boston: Take I-95 North to Maine Turnpike exit 48 (formerly exit 8). Follow Route 302 West for approximately 40 miles to Bridgton. Stay straight through the first traffic light in Bridgton and when you get to the next traffic light, make a left. We’re on Main Street on the left. From North Conway, New Hampshire: Follow Route 302 East through Fryeburg and downtown Bridgton.

The Magic Lantern Innovation Center is accepting open admissions for artwork to display in our youth art gallery! Are you an artist between the ages of 5-25 who might like to have their work shown locally? We are currently featuring local photographer Emma McKenney and painter Emma Crawford on our porch gallery and looking for artists work to display for July! Paintings, drawings, woodworking, photographs, poetry, sculpture and jewelry design are just a few ideas of the types of work to submit. Please email photos of work to [email protected] for consideration or with any questions you may have. Get your submissions in by June 23rd to potentially be featured in July’s artist showcase!

The Magic Lantern Innovation Center is proud to announce we will be hosting a special summer of Stephen King movies and suspense. Starting Friday, June 28th, everyone who purchases a movie ticket at the Magic Lantern can enter their name in a raffle box to win a personally autographed Stephen King book or movie poster! Winners will be drawn weekly. More information will be given at the time of ticket purchase.
