🍁 BRIEF TASTE OF FALL IN OKLAHOMA 🍁

A very impressive August cool front is dropping South through the Plains. Believe it or not highs in the mid 70s for Oklahoma City on Saturday. A good shot of rain, clouds and cooler Northerly flow will feel like October for a day.

It does lose steam heading into North Texas, but mid 90s instead of 100s will be a nice break.

For those of you who don’t know there are two towns around Beavers Bend State Park: Hochatown and Broken Bow. Hochatown recently incorporated in 2022. Before that this entire area was considered Broken Bow.

Our cabin is that little blue flag close to downtown Hochatown. By being in central Hochatown we are actually closer to all of your Beavers Bend activities. We are minutes aways from great restaurants, wineries, the State Park, the Maze, hiking, boating, golf, bowling, and more!

It took us a few trips before we knew how to say Hochatown correctly so here’s a sign to help you. I’ve heard you can buy this on a shirt at Janet’s Treasure Chest.

Our location is probably one of my favorite things about the cabin.

We are conveniently located in the Sunrise Ridge neighborhood only 5 minutes from Mountain Fork Brewery and 6 minutes from Grateful Head Pizzeria. At the same time we are secluded in the beautiful pine trees at the end of a cul-de-sac. Across from us on the other side of the cul-de-sac remain 2.4 acres of untouched trees and woodlands.

Broken Bow and Hochatown has become so popular that there are cabins everywhere. It is hard to find convenience and peace and quiet. You are not finding a location like ours anywhere else!

Our Kids Guest Book is probably my favorite thing in our cabin. These drawings always make me smile.

Pardon my Oscar acceptance speech, but I have a few people to thank..

I want to say a special thank you to my husband for working with State Farm and Servpro to get this place cleaned up, for hiring the hot shot to make sure we could get the new flooring up there ASAP, and for working with our contractor and Bravo to get the work completed.

Thank you to Danny at Bravo Cabin Rentals, LLC. Danny was the first one to find the issue and immediate got his hands dirty and started mopping up the excess water to minimize damage.

Thank you to the Moore family for picking up a piece of our flooring from Broken Bow and bringing it back to DFW so we could match the rest of the cabin.

Thank you to our contractor, Nick, for working so hard to get this cabin ready for our incoming guests!

It takes a village and we are so happy to have had support!

We are beyond sad to share that our hot water heater at the cabin just bursted. We are temporarily closed while we make the necessary repairs.

We sincerely apologize to our guests. We will be doing our best to get up and running as soon as possible.
