Buckshot, Bows and Babes was set up by a local chic who was born and raised in Brookhaven, Mississippi and has lived in the hospitality state for 40 years. She has always balanced work and family with raising two teenage sons being her top priority. As the only daughter, she grew up around guns, hunting and fishing with her daddy and brother, and it has just been a way of life for her. Now, do not
get her wrong – She still loves her bling-bling and make-up but one shot with her rifle or bow, and it is usually dead, right on the spot. Her love is bow hunting and she would rather do that than anything else. “I guess it is the thrill and the competition of waiting on your prey to get close enough to get the right shot and not be seen. I was lucky enough to kill the first time I ever shot my bow, which was about 16-17 years ago. I will never forget the rush and that feeling. I always say that when and if that feeling of your heart pounding, your mouth watering and your ears listening and zooming in like radars fade, it is time to hang it up and pick up another hobby," said Clancey Lambert. Her goal is to bring other women, children, and special needs individuals closer to enjoying the outdoors. Whether that is at competitions, shows, or aiding them in hunts, just seeing the joy on their face when they take down their first kill is amazing. The peace and tranquility of being outside with Mother Nature and the closeness she gets to experience with God is worth it all to her.
