Meet the faces behind the “K&M”

Kevin - 34, originally from Massachusetts, spent 4 years active duty Army (Fort Polk) with a deployment to Iraq, currently works full-time as an assistant director at the YMCA, works part-time boarding & training dogs, is a passionate fitness enthusiast

Meg - 30, originally from Deridder & Lake Charles LA, grew up fishing at Toledo Bend, currently works full-time in hospital management at a 24/7 veterinary ER, works part-time boarding & training dogs (certified dog trainer), passionate about working dogs & enjoying the fresh air outside camping, hiking, kayaking, & simply disconnecting!

We both have a bucket list full of National Parks & encourage others to get outside, move your bodies, & enjoy the natural wonders of the world. While our camp is small in relation, it is our “slice of heaven” that we love sharing with friends, family, & all of our guests.

As you can tell we are either working or outside pretty much all the time. In order to remain available for guests 24/7, our cabins are posted for booking on Airbnb & VRBO. Come enjoy the beautiful South Toledo Bend & enjoy our peaceful 1.5 acres of yard, kayaks, & picnic area to make those memories around the campfire.

Hello everyone! We get a lot of spam calls with our business # posted in public places, so please be sure to leave us a voicemail if you’re calling for a cabin or rv spot! We both work full-time so aren’t able to take calls during the work hours, but respond to them in the evenings. If there’s no voicemail & a missed call from a # we don’t recognize we usually don’t call those back. Our voicemail is set up with our business name, so be sure to leave us details so we can fix you up at our south Toledo Bend camp. Thank you!

All 4 cabins are full which is a first us at this time of the year, WOOHOO! 🎉 We still have 4 full RV hookups available so spread the word to all your camping friends! Free laundry on site, picnic area with grills, bills included in our prices, 1.5 acres of quiet property at the south end of Toledo Bend. Let us share our little slice of heaven with you!
