BIG things coming to Charleston this Friday!

Record-breaking visit! looks forward to welcoming the 16,022 TEU CMA CGM GROUP (Official) Marco Polo. This is the largest vessel to ever call the East Coast. The vessel is expected to arrive the morning of Friday, May 28. We will update our social channels as we get closer.

The Marco Polo measures 1,300 feet long. With a length equivalent to more than 3.5 football fields, the containers fitting on the vessel would span nearly 61 miles if placed end-to-end.

Who will be in Charleston to watch this massive vessel arrive at Wando Welch Terminal? We’re looking forward to seeing all the photos and videos as you capture this historical moment.

To celebrate this momentous occasion, is hosting an Instagram contest for the most beautiful pictures in each port city! All you have to do is post your best photos and tag and use . The CMA CGM team will choose THREE winners per port city.
