🏰🍽️❄️ Sometimes you just need a quick bite to eat in a blissfully air conditioned and low lit restaurant while in Magic Kingdom...that’s where Pinocchio’s Village Haus comes in. The menu isn’t huge, but it will satisfy even the pickiest of puppets in your crew. To extend the break, grab a seat near the back windows and watch the boats from it’s a Small World drift by. Anyone else like to see how many riders will see you and wave? 👋

PRO TIP: This event is extremely popular and will sell out. If you’re planning on visiting, September is the best month to go because October gets crazy. The wait for houses during weekends and peak times can easily creep up to an hour or more, so consider investing in the event’s Express Pass 🎫. And the biggest tip, bring a friend’s hand to hold! ✋ Who loves being so scared that you can’t breathe?! 😰

😎 TRON Lightcycle/Run, one of the newest thrill rides at Magic Kingdom, is definitely a MUST DO attraction. Here’s a couple of tips for having the best experience:

🏍️ For starters, you can now hop in a standby line! No more Virtual Queue. You can also control your destiny and purchase a Lightning Lane Single Pass for the time you wish to ride. Or do both! 📲⚡

🌞🌙 Secondly, it’s totally different depending on the time of day that you ride! There is an amazing outdoor portion of the ride that just feels different in the daylight vs when lit up after dark. With some strategy (and a few extra bucks) you can do both!

🎬 For a better experience, watch BOTH Tron movies. I’ll warn you,, the original movie is a bit cheesy and dated while the newer Tron: Legacy is more modern, but there are so many nods to the films in the queue, during the ride, and in the merchandise. You’ll just appreciate the experience much more.

Today we visited Ketchikan which may be favorite little Alaskan Sea Port. You gotta love s place that has more bears than people! We went to a lumberjack show, Potlatch Park, as well as some downtown shops. It was such a fun day-wish we had more time here!

🌪️🌧️⚡️Hurricanes, tropical storms, and tropical depressions, OH MY! Cruising during hurricane season will give you the lowest prices, but there’s a reason for that. If this is the best time of year for you and your crew, here are a few helpful tips:

📅 Hurricane season officially goes from June through November. If you are considering August, September, and October, just know you are likely looking at the highest possibility of weather issues. Sailings out of Florida to the Caribbean will be the sailings most impacted.

🛡️Get travel protection! Just do it - no matter when you sail

✈️ Book flights early in the day for less chance of cancellations or delays. Also arrive at least one day before embarkation day, just in case flights get canceled. You may find you have to hop in a car and hit the road!

🌊Go with the flow! Cruise lines reallllllly don’t want to cancel sailings, so they will do all they can to avoid that including changing itineraries to avoid weather issues.

😴🥾🐊If you’ve ever dreamed of braving the wilds of the jungle but know deep down you're more of a theme park snacker than a survivalist, the Wild Africa Trek tour at Disney’s Animal Kingdom is probably for you.

🇮🇹🏨Loews Portofino Bay Hotel at Universal Orlando Resort does an incredible job of making guests feel as though they’ve stepped onto to the streets of Italy, and looking around, it’s easy to see why it’s in their Signature Collection.
